The NCIS Official Thread

It just hasn't been holding my attention this season, I didn't pay much attention to last nights episode much at all, I couldn't even tell you what happened.

Hope next week's episode is better with one of Gibb's ex's

OK, I just got caught up on this week's episode, and I have a question:

Doesn't everyone who uses a first name, except for his father, call Gibbs "Jethro"? Then why would his ex-wife call him "Leroy"? Yes, I know it's his name, but Jenny called him "Jethro" as does Ducky.

I think that was intentional...they didn't explain and want people to wonder, and we'll find out somewhere down the line maybe?

I thought that was strange too, I just figured it was a wife/ex-wife thing, maybe. This week's episode was better than some of the others.

I just about fell out of my chair when Gibbs asked Fornell about the condom...lol that was hilarious

So did anyone watch Mark Harmon in that TV movie on USA? I tried to, it was so boring.

I'm a NCIS nut and I think last nights show was one of the best, well written episodes I've seen from them in a long time. Can't wait for part 2.

I agree. I love the opening dream scene with Shannon. I like Gibbs relating to Mr. Flores when he said losing a daughter is painful. I liked this episode on so many levels, the treatment of girls in Afghanistan, the people (under the guise) who try to help are really the enemy, Tony's fear of not living a fulfilled life and so much more.

Agree with all of this. It's like we muddled through an overdone story arc and now we made it back to real NCIS.

My thoughts exactly. I didn't want to give away too much with my first post. Part of me knew that the opening scene was a dream, but it was so sweet...and when Gibbs made his comments about daughters to the father, I almost lost it. That was classic NCIS for me. :thumbsup2
