If you're from NC and you're going in September, post it here!

I'll start:
September 6th thru the 14th - off site at Polynesian Isles!
It can't get here soon enough!

Hi there! I'm in the Triangle, and we'll be at Disney Sept. 7-12. It's my first trip as an adult, and I can't wait!

Just curious -- are you driving or flying? We're driving.

We are going Sept 19-29 as soon as year round school has there 1st break . We are driving from wilmington 91/2 hrs, not bad, I put every one in the car while they are sleeping and they wake up in geogia/florida line then only a few more hours for them.

We're driving.

We live in Asheville and are going back to WDW Sept. 26-Oct. 3rd . We're driving ~ about 12 hours WITH stops, and staying offsite at Silver Lake Resort

My husband's last flight was a 6 hour flight from Baltimore to Charlotte that included a stop in Greenville for fuel after circling for 2 hours. What, it shouldn't take that long you say? You are correct. My husband and flights don't seem to mesh. This was chapter gazillion in his saga of airline disasters. So we're driving.

I figure 20 minutes to the airport, 2 hour security/check-in time, 1.5 hour flight, then MCO to WDW time 45 minutes? What's another 4 hours? Besides, this way I get to carry all the stuff I think we could possibly need.

This way, without my husband's presence, everyone's flight should go smoothly.

Hi! We're in Charlotte and going Sept. 20-27th.

We are actually doing a grand gathering and we have 19 people going in total. We are originally from Virginia and because my MIL and SIL don't fly, they are driving here and we'll drive down with them. I'm not looking forward to a van filled with people, but I keep telling myself that WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY!

The best part is that for most of my in-laws, this is their first trip to Disney. In fact, for my SIL and her 3 kids, this is their first "real" vacation, so I'm thrilled to be there for that.

Plus I get to see my mouse and live like I'm 8 year old again - nothing beats that!

Driving down from the Charlotte area (Stanly County) next Wednesday, 9/3 for 5 days. Can hardly wait to get started!

A little worried about Gustav bringing wind and/or rain but that's still a long way off. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!!

We are going to be there from 9-25 through 10-5 at the POR. I am closer to VA so we are flying out of the Norfolk VA airport.
