I spent my 4th at the hospital. My friend Andrea had her baby, so Danielle and I went to visit.

Nothing special to report. Heading out early today for a doctor's appointment (do not want) and then a hair appointment. I didn't fall asleep until 6 a.m., so I'm not in the best of moods and I want to go home and sleep.

She had a boy...Zachariah. I'm pleased to say that I held him and didn't break him. And now I sort of want one, but...well, I have no prospects...

Not getting a new haircut either. Just my usual colour and trim. I'm growing my hair for Locks of Love, so we just trim up the dead ends, not quite 1/8" and that's it.

HOWDY EVERYONE! Yes, I have been very busy. Spent Saturday walking all over Balboa Island (love the Balboa Bars), Sunday we spent at San Juan Capistrano touring all over the area (the Mission) and then headed to Laguana Beach. Tomorrow DSis and I are doing the Grand Tour of Los Angeles!!!!!!!!!!

We also love Pinkberry and Red Mango!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the weather, Keith has been hot but certainly do-able as there is very little humidity (which in Boston is a killer)!!

How are all the NUTS doing?

Jeannie, Lisa, Keith, Liz, Cheryl, Peej, Squid!!! Where has Robbie been?? Has anyone seen him?? Howdy Doody, Robbie, if you should pop in for a visit!!

I was a rebel yesterday and didn't go to work. Spur of the moment my sister and I decided to go to the spa. When my dad went on his trip this past month he sent us all gifts. He sent my sister and me gift certificates for a massage at the Gaylord Palms spa. The hotel looks just like the Gaylord Palms in Nashville and the spa was absolutely gorgeous! We bum laid around the spa all day and got our massages. Heavenly. They even had a lounge with food in it! We just did spa stuff alllllll day long. And better yet I didn't even have to pay for it!

Last night we went to see Wall-e with a big group of people, too. It was very cute. I teared up during it, though! Good movie.

Thanks, Jean! My hairdresser and my friend Gary think I have "good hair," too. Lord knows I've got plenty of it.

I said the most inane thing, though..."I can't wait until it's long so I can cut it off." Think about it.

Hey Jeannie Beanie: Yes, we are having a blast. One more day with DSis and then she leaves me to go back to Boston. We have had so much fun!! No pics yet but soon, real soon. And I am so excited to meet Cheryl and her Family and Keith and Sorceress!!!

Keith, the Tour of LA was awesome. Some areas were a bit IFY....hmm, let's see, Venice Beach and Marina Del Ray we did not care for at all. The Hollywood sign on the hill is all cloudy due to the fires up North. Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills was !!!!! Loved the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Just after I posted last night, my dog fell down the stairs. She was sitting right on the edge, probably couldn't see because it was dark - went to scratch and lost her balance. Tumbled all the way down. She's okay - my mother screamed and ran after her; Tara got up and ran in the other direction. I think she was ashamed of scaring us.

She's okay, she's still walking, although she came back upstairs on her own, arranged her blanket in my mother's room, and went to sleep. Mum was still downstairs. She's walking fine today, too.
