Me, me! I was just in Best Buy last night. Keep hoping they put them on DVD!!! I ended up coming home with Mad About You instead since The Nanny isn't.

One of my all time favorites! I've always said that Fran Drescher is the modern day Lucille Ball. I wish she'd get another show, or better yet, revive the Nanny.

Love The Nanny!

I read that they just filmed a reunion show, but not the usual kind. Fran had the cast over to her house and they are all "noshing" and reminiscing. I'm sure it will be fun. I think it airs this fall.

I loved The Nanny in its original run a few years ago and I still watch it in reruns! It is a great escape.

Can't wait to see the reunion.

The little girl (madeline Zima ) that played Gracie is in A Cinderella Story she is all grown up now and she plays one of the ugly stepsisters.

My wife loves that show. She can do a perfect imitation of Fran's voice. Sometimes we "role play" between Mr. Sheffield and Fran to spice up our ( ) life.

Did you know that Niles (Daniel Davis) grew up in Arkansas and that he is NOT British?

I went to elementary and jr. high school with him.

My all time fav show....The reruns are on at 11pm-12 midnight where I live and I think they are on during the work day....I watch every night....I wish they were on earlier so I could get some extra ZZZZZZ's.....
Fran's form of comedy also reminds me of Lucy.....who I also love to watch....So funny.....
The antics between CC and Niles are hilarious....I also crack up when the grandma is on the scene.

I owe a lot of sleepness nights to the nanny!! I love this show also!! I work late and when I come home its THE GOLDEN GIRLS and THE NANNY and MAD ABOUT YOU . I have been dying for this to go to dvd also!!

I never watched it when it was first run...BUT I watch it EVERY night.....from 12-1am!! Can't go to bed without watching it! And then Mad About You right after until 2am!!! DH thinks I am nuts....but still laugh out loud quite often!!!

I love that show. I can't seem to let myself watch it now though. I used to love to see Chester on the show, he looked so much like my Boo, but since Boo died, I'm afraid I'd cry my eyes out if I saw Chester on the show.

My dd has a friend that looks just like the youngest dd on the show.

BTW, I didn't have any idea that the actor who played Niles was not British. I always assumed that he was. You learn SO much here on the DIS

I love that show and I really miss watching it. I was watching it on Lifetime, but our Lifetime channel turned into the Golf channel (Zzzzz!) and I haven't been able to see where they moved the Lifetime channel...surely they didn't remove the whole channel.
