15. Scarlett by Alexandra Ripley ( sequel to Gone with the Wind, hated it as a sequel but it was a good story on its own.)
16. Carmen by Bizet ( this is an opera but there are books with the opera text,lovely.)
17. Watermelon by Marian Keyes (SOOO funny)
18. The Casteel series by VC Andrews ( yes. I know...but the Casteel series is the best)
19. Angela's Ashes
20. Any biography about movie stars back in the day. Like Marion Davies, Lana Turner, these movie stars are MUCH more interesting.

Another vote for Outlander. I haven't finished the book yet, but I'm so excited at the prospect of so many more books in the series!

You know, I totally forgot to mention the best book I read last year--The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I gave it to everyone for Christmas--it made me laugh out loud and cry my eyes out. It's fabulous.
