The Mummy 4 is supposedly in the works with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz returning!

I just hope they go back to the Egyptian storyline.
He turned good at the end. Maybe he will become an ally in this one. Or maybe they will time travel and explore their ancestors' lives during 13th century BC.I bet they will. I mean, it was one thing to get two movies out of Imhotep, but a third would be a stretch if he just kept coming back. Now though it's been a while, so a grand return for the first Mummy is in order.
Torture in the afterlife causes stress.I was shocked when I read this yesterday. I can't believe they are getting her to come back. My mine immediately went to Imhotep, but Arnold is a LOT older than he was back then, and how would they explain a mummy that got older LOL?

TBH that kinda ruined Fast and Furious franchise for me (well and them becoming more and more bizarre) although I'll still watch them lol. When they changed Shaw into being part of the good guys. He killed (and yes I know he wasn't actually dead though that was not part of the original track) Han in Tokyo Drift and then later on we're supposed to see him as a more positive light it just didn't sit well with me.Maybe he will become an ally in this one.
Love it! I always felt that Brendan and Rachel had such good chemistry in the first two movies, will be interesting to see them back together again after all these years!
I suppose if they really wanted to bring back Imhotep, they could "de-age" him with computer tech like they've done in recent years, but to do it for the entire movie would probably break the bank, LOL. Probably better if they just make something up to explain his aging, or move on to a different character/storyline.
I don't think he has to given he was mortal when going to Egyptian Hell.I mean, he ha to absorb all of his organs to become whole - just never have him do that. He can kust be creature mummy the whole time.
https://www.arabamerica.com/egypt-60s-golden-ageThe Mummy 4 (or 5 if we count the horrible reboot) would probably take place in the late 1960's since it would be 20 plus years later since The Mummy 3 which took place in 1946/1947.
They can all just sit around and play mahjong for two hours, and I will watch LOL.Luke Ford played Alex in The Mummy 3 and is now 44. Isabella Leong who played Lin is 37. I would think they would play more of the action roles in the new movie while Rick and Evie play more of an advisory role as grandparents.
I loved the second movie. The third was meh. The reboot wasThey can all just sit around and play mahjong for two hours, and I will watch LOL.
Nothing can be worse than the second movie.
