Are the mugs only good at the resorts you buy them at? Anywhere else?

I'm not absolutely sure about this, but I think that they are good only at the resort you're staying at, although I think I have heard that someone using them at another resort before. I guess you could if you're sneaky about it, but why risk it?

They are officially only good at the resort that you bought them. Also officially, you are only supposed to use them on the same trip you bought them, however, one individual spoke with a resort manager and the response they received was they were just glad to have the people back, that they didn't have a problem with the people using them again (this was also before 9/11). We like to collect them ourselves. We currently have Contemporary, Caribbean Beach, and Port Orleans Riverside. Can't wait to collect Wilderness Lodge and the Boardwalks on our next trip.

OK, I just thought I heard (and this was probably years ago) that you could use them in the parks. If we end up chosing on-site I think I may get them just for a momento. Thanks

Oops, I do have one more question. I saw in a picture the mugs were already in the room, and then if you opened them you paid for them. Well in the picture there were 4 mugs vacumed packed together. We're only 3, but if I did the mugs I think I would only buy for me and DH. Can you buy just 2 of the 4 or do you have to pay for all 4 since their opened? Or maybe they would charge for 3 since my DD will be with us.

They are not good at the parks, there is no refillable mug program at any of the parks. Sorry.
They are only good at the resort where purchased.
If they are in the room and you open them, you pay for them.
Not sure how they are packaged. BUT......you can buy them at the snack bar/food court at any of the resorts participating in the program.

I think it would be better for you to buy them at the food service area at the resort rather than the room.
