The movie "Skyline"

Didn't like it at all. Depressing. Waste of time. Horrible ending.

With the new movies this weekend, we picked the wrong one.

I had high hopes for this one...and they were summarily dashed to bits after the reviews started coming out. Apparently it's no "District 9". Sigh....at least there's Harry Potter next week!

My 11yo & I saw it last night, too. It was really bad. Acting was terrible. Ending the worse. No real storry line. The special effects were pretty good, though.

We saw Unstoppable today and LOVED it!

Unstoppable has gotten great reviews. I wish I'd have seen that instead of paying money to see Due Date last night.

Ouch, that's too bad. I always check what Rotten Tomatoes has to say about a film before I'm willing to hand them $50 for my family of 4 plus popcorn. For the most part they are on target with my taste so I trust it. I just checked Skyline came out as an 11%, that's really bad. I've seen movies that rate around a 50% that I regretted (Green Zone), I can't imagine the torture of an 11%

I heard that as well - unstoppable getting great reviews. We are taking kiddos to see Megamind tomorrow - I hope its good.

Thanks to the reviews here we changed our plans to see Skyline and saw Unstoppable instead. It was really good and we enjoyed it.

Aw, that's a shame about Skyline, the commercial made it look fairly interesting.
