I do beleive I'm now official. Yes, I met a real live Dis-person, TammyH-oregon and her DH had plans to drive from Seattle to Portland and this would put them in my neck of the woods during the road trip south. Now let me tell you I forgot to give her our phone number or address--but yet she found us-----so smart that girl is. I go by my maiden name so thought once Tammy started her trip she would have no way to get info on how to reach me. Not to worry, I had sent her an e-mail with ny DH name on the return address and bless her heart she looked us up in the phone book.

Let me tell you it was the shortest 3 hours-----yes we visited for 3 hours. I felt like I was visiting with a long lost school buddy. I now know I will have a friendly face to show me the way when I get to Dis-con II. Tammy's kindness in stopping to visit with someone she didn't know --except from the boards----just blew me away. I felt a tad distant about attending the convention ---because I would not know anyone----well now I know TAMMY and her DH-JOE.

Just wanted to share my Happy Day with you all.

I'm now looking forward to Dec. and the Dis-con II.

Now does this count as a Dis-meet? I might think yes, For when two or more meet................

we had a similar experience at BARB CON this past weekend....and now we are going to go to DIS CON because the people we met were so wonderfull.....I can't wait to see the people from this past weekend again and meet all the other DISers from the boards that I haven't met.....
