The most underrated place to eat at WDW is....?

CS - I have a couple, but would have to go with Flame Tree BBQ. The ribs are excellent and they give you a ton of them.

TS - I will also say Bongos. Nobody ever seems to talk about it, but their steak and chimichirri sauce with plantains is one of my favorite meals on Disney property.

The GF Cafe (dinner), it was the best meal we had. My steak was better there than at Le Cellier, which was really good. The waitress was the best, she is now at Chef Mickeys, we had her on her last day. If you go to Chef Mickeys ask for Claudette.

i love the nachos at San Angel Inn.....and I am from TX and get mexican at home all the time, but I just love them!

Most underrated TS for me would be The Plaza at MK. Not a lot of people talk about it on here. They have GREAT sandwiches and yummy ice cream. It's also a quiet and pretty restaurant. One of my favorite places in MK!
I agree with this! We ate there for the first time in April and it was really good. Not a big menu selection but the sandwiches we had were quite tasty. I used to walk right past it :thumbsup2

For me the most underrated TS restaurant is Bongo's Cuban Cafe. We have gone many times and have always had great food and service. Also the atmosphere is so alive. The latin band is great and after eating we love watching all the great dancers! We have even brought our kids with us and it was great. Nobody ever talks about it here. :confused3

I agree! I love Bongo's! :cool1:

Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom. The rotisseerie chicken is just plain awesome!

CS would be Wolfgang Puck Express - like others have said...fresh, yummy table service food served in a counter service restaurant. We were very excited when one opened at the Mall of America so we can get our fix near home now.

TS would be Spoodles. I don't hear much about it on here, but we loved it so much on our last trip that we went back again. The food is wonderful and the DP bargain is amazing. We will be back again and again.

TS--at one time, Akershus. Now definitely Grand Floridian Cafe.
CS--Pepper Market. I fed a family of three on one CS voucher a couple of times.

Table Service Kona Cafe Wow this is my favorite right now. Great selection and the food is wonderful.

I second (or is it third now?) this vote -- my all time favorite restaurant. I love the coconut chicken - and I don't even like coconut! Then jump on the monorail for an evening of fun in the MK.

Columbia Harbor House and Yacht Club Galley

I agree on the Pepper Market,It's worth the trip,,,We had the BEST
Steak Nachos there,,,really enough for 3 people. We also split an amazing Prime Rib sandwich that was so good, I wish I had it all to myself !! :rotfl:

The Plaza at MK does not get talked about much. In fact nobody mentioned it at all for the TS on Free dining. We had a great meal there and the atmosphere is very nice. I would definitely go there again.

For CS, Tusker House- the salmon is so good and affordable! We also love the Kringla Bakeri in Norway. They have THE BEST cheese danishes. People always talk about the Patisserie in France, but I've had much better desserts in Norway! Kona Cafe is one of our very favorite TS restaurants; it's always on our must see list!

The GF Cafe

I agree! Going there for a gardenburger (we think the best onsite) is the first thing we do at WDW!

We also like the France pavillion restaurant. Not the upstairs expensive one, the downstairs one. In fact, it might be my current favorite for lunch. We just get cheese, salad, bread and wine, and stare at the handsome french waiters! (well, the male members of our party like the pretty girl ones!)

TS - GF Cafe

CS - The food place inside the Land in Epcot. Been good for years.

Trails End. We really  it over there. So laid back, fresh food, amazing Chili - and the service has *never* been bad for us.

No one -ever- mentions it. :confused3

Portobello Yacht Club without a doubt. It's wonderful every time we go there.

As for counter service, I'd probably choose the fish and chips stand in Epcot. The chips are just so so, but the fish is to die for--big chunks of flaky cod in a beer batter. And you can get Bass Ale on the side. What could be better?

I'd say the Main Street Bakery. People always talk about Character Breakfasts, but seem to overlook how great this tiny spot is.

Best cinnammon rolls on the planet!
