Yeah, some of the souvenirs in the parks can get a bit pricey, but I'm just curious to find out what some of the most expensive souvenirs are that people might have found at Disney World. I'll start with this one:

From the Germany pavilion at World Showcase comes this crystal-encrusted model of Cinderella Castle, which can be yours for the low price of only $37,500.

Anyone found anything more expensive?

Yeah, my 5 year old DD. :rotfl2: Conceived while at Disney, and I'm still paying for that souvenir. :rotfl:

Hope you weren't eating when you read that. It was probably the last time anything other than sleeping happened at the hotel. We learned our lesson. :lmao:

To get this back on track...

There is something for $150,000 at the memoribilia shop at DTD.

It is two giant frames containing pictures and autographs of every US president up to present with a space for the next one.

Very large and very, VERY pricey.

The crystal Cinderella castle in the MK jewelry store (I think thats the store its in) for 25,000.:scared1:

the most we ever paid was 250.00 for the Olzewskie's miniature replica of Cinderella's castle and 150.00 for the Central Plaza replica. We are trying to get them all. Those replicas are GEORGEOUS! We hope to buy more in January.

But 25 grand...nah! We will pass on that!:lmao:

Oh I would love to have that castle lol. I would say anything in the Art of Disney stores are the most expensive...most ex*****ive thing my DH bought was the Jedi Mickey figure. Oh and pins lol. They add up.

i remember seeing that castle and wondering how big your house would have to be to put that in a room where you could actually enjoy it and not feel like your sitting on top of it.

lynn - interesting that your "expensive" was xxxxed out

i don't recall the pricetag offhand, but i'm pretty sure the striped jacket dick van d. wore as bert from mary poppins is more expensive than the castle. on display/sale at sid cahuenga's at dhs.

single most expensive item i've bought at wdw are the steiff mickeys and minnies.. close to $400 each.

No, the castle is MK is the same as the one in the first picture. It's $37,500 just as the OP says, since it's the same thing, just a 2nd one. Cant remember what the issue of those is something like 25 or 50 or something.

Well unless you have a tiny house, that shouldnt be a problem as it's not that big.

Scrooge beware! This crystal replica of Cinderella Castle sparkles like a thousand stars. Weighing 42 pounds and standing 20 inches tall, the limited-edition piece features 28,255 hand-set Swarovski crystals, 23kt gold plates, and hand-applied enamel. The castle, featured at four locations around Walt Disney World Resort including Arribas Brothers in Downtown Disney, comes with a certificate of authenticity; $37,500
But hey, it does come with a CoA :)

No, there is one at the MK for $25K. It's in the window of the glass blowing shop. We saw it just last week. It's beautiful, but WOW!

I'm sure that some of the original painting at the disney Gallery are pretty expensive.

Ah, then it's a different one, because that's where you would see the OP's at also. I'm sure they sell as many of those as they do the $37k one.. :) Think they will ship it for free if you pay that price?

;)

the one OP posted is in Germany. it *was* in the MK. it was in the arribas brothers shop that was in the castle, but was relocated when that shop was closed to make way for BBB.

not to suggest it's unique, i believe they have sold a couple of others.

The one on Main St. in the glass blowing shop is about $25,000. It is gorgeous too. The difference between the two is that the one on Main St is just white crystals. Apparently colored crystals cost about $12,000 more dollars. :rotfl2:
