One of the adults in our group just had elbow surgery (ouch!). She's generally pretty courageous about rough rides, but now would understandably like to avoid any that would be likely to bang that delicate elbow.

Can the DLR experts recommend any DL or DCA rides that she should especially steer clear of?

Goofy's Sky School is one of the rides I actively do not like, partly because the seats seem designed for kids, so you are scrunched up in there, and partly because of all the times that they pull the brakes on you. If it isn't my arms that hurt, it's my stomach when it goes into the restraining bar. Knotts, Legoland and other places have almost identical coasters (coast rider, and technic coaster), but for whatever reason, they aren't quite as painful.

Matterhorn is bad, but for different reasons (the sudden rough turns and drops). It's fun enough that I deal with it.

The other rides mentioned above I would also consider risky if you have an injured elbow.

BTDT as far as going with an bum elbow. In my case, I had a nerve pinched, so every movement at my elbow was torture.

At DL:
Matterhorn
Indy
Star Tours
Space Mountain, unless they are situated next to a known person with the bad side in the middle
Smugglers Run

At DCA:
Incredicoaster
Toy Story Mania (it swings around kinda rough some times)
Mater's
Luigi's can have a bit of a pull-- keep the elbow on the inside
Goofy's Sky School

I feel like I'm missing one or two.
