Ok, so I got a bunch of really nice things from my Dbf and my family, but perhaps the best gift (it actually made me cry!) was a card from my parents saying "Merry Christmas! When you and Kris finally have some time off and can go to Disney again, we'll pay for the passes!" 
WOOOOHOOO!!!!
Dbf and I had moved to NC from NY almost 2 years ago to start a farm (a horse farm). And time off is something we have NONE of. We have been planning to give ourselves a celebratory Disney trip as soon as the farm turned a profit (which it did in less than a year
) and 2005 is forcasting even better returns. So we are really hoping for an October 2005 trip.
Then Dbf's Mom piped up and said she'd buy us the plane tix!
Wowee! Personally I am hoping that the trip would not only be to celebrate our success in the business but also perhaps a honeymoon. Though not officially engaged, we have been together for almost 5 years and have throughly discussed and planned to get married. It's just that the business has come first, and we are waiting until we finalize the mortgage on the farm before we get engaged 9we are leasing to buy the farm).
So...assuming (prayers please...) that the bank approves our mortgage app next month, Dbf ad I can not only get engaged, but then plan our long awaited, much needed WDW vacation courtesy of our wonderful parents!!
