The Mortal Instruments

This is what, my second thread today? But I just HAVE to know- is anyone else reading/read the Mortal Instruments series? I didn't pay them much attention until I heard there would be a movie, so I started to read City of Bones. I've got less than fifty pages left, and I am just in LOVE with it! So many twists! I thought it was very well written, too. Clary is awesome, and as of now (even though there's something going on with him right now, I'm not sure what to call him) Jace is my favorite character.

Has anyone seen the movie? Is it good? Anyone know if they'll be planning on making a City of Ashes movie?

I'm definitely planning on buying and reading City of Ashes once I'm done with City of Bones.

One last question- are the Clockwork books part of the series? On the back of my City of Bones book it has Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess, I wasn't sure if they were part of the series or not.

i like the first three books. the next ones seemed... unnecessary to me because the story felt done after the first three.

i haven't seen the movie yet because i heard it sucked lol

I'll probably end up reading the last ones, I can't stop in the middle of a series, drives me crazy
