I was just reading in the Dis dinning section that if you are a disney resort guess you can make your ADR's 180 + 10 days out. I had never read that before. I'll be making my ADR's the day after Thanksgiving. Before I read that I would have been calling Dec. 2nd. Has anyone else read that before? I'm I that uninformed. I'm starting to get scared and confused which is not hard for me to do. I've got to do more research.

You are correct. You can make your Adrs at 180 days out from your arrival date for up to 10 days of your stay all at once.

The way I understand it, you can make ADR's at 180 days from the start of your vacation + up to 10 days from that first day.

Does that make sense?

I think I understand. I have to call on Dec 2nd and the + 10 days means I can make the rest of my reservations for the rest of my stay up to 10 days out? Is that what it means?

You are NOT understanding this correctly. You still make them at 180 days out from the date of your arrival, BUT when you call on day 180 you can make all your reservations for up to a ten day stay. that is where the +10 comes in.
I wish people would stop listing it as 180 + 10 because it is so misleading.

I hope that's not true because that's one of my important ADR's and its going to be close to the end of my trip. Which means if I can't make it when I first call than I'll have to call back when my 180 days for that day come up.
