Ok, here goes...the guy on the left is Ben...my boss. Just turned 29 a couple of weeks ago...single, drives a BMW and makes MAD money. Willing to try anything. At least once. And a real nice guy...from the Midwest - Indiana. I'd love to see him find the right girl. Or girl for right now.... He's very smart, driven and is going places FAST in our company...Ben is the one who "demanded" me for this project and got me moved down here. I worked with him for a couple of years in NH.

The guy on my right is Stephen. He graduated ECU in December. Good kid. FUNNY. Another one willing to try anything once...usually at least twice! Another single guy. In the process of buying his own house. Even has life insurance and investments already.

OK, I'm only on page 2 but I just had to post right away. I can sooooo identify with the 'Mominator' and the 'Kinder, Gentler me'. I learned on our last trip (and that was adults only) that I can return to the hotel for a rest, I can survive the trip with (gasp) no definite plan and I can fly by the seat of my pants - but I tell you what, I am really looking forward to our August trip so I can get back into super planner extraordinaire mode. So, yep, I can identify - and I am also super jealous that I will not be able to gate crash your chick meet at the Poly because I will be on a rubbishy old Disney Cruise Seriously, I am beginning to wish we weren't going on the cruise - you guys are gonna have so much fun

I'm sorry you can't make it! It is going to be a lot of fun and who knows, maybe it will become the start of a tradition or something! I want to hear about your cruise though!!!

Again with the peeing in the pants.... No - I really was excited. I've never been so excited about anything in my life...wasn't scared - it was a rush...as soon as you step to the edge of the plane the air kind of gets sucked out of you. Plus, the jump out of the plane itself is uncomfortable...you have to arch your back - think of a banana...yep - that much of an arch backwards, plus you have to keep your head back on the instructors' chest/shoulder - when all you want to do is look so you can take it all in....

I know it sounds ridiculous, but I've watched the video so many times!! I'm hoping to go again in the next week or so...I have to call and book...some other guys from work want to go too so I'm trying to see when they're available...

DH is NOT happy about me going though...

Ok, so here is a little update. More is coming as I think there are changes blowing in the wind, but...who knows ....

It's days past due, but the week has been crazy and has just gotten away from me....

Anywho...I reserved the tee time for "da boys"...for those of you who don't already know (and love) them, the "Fearsome Foursome" is made up of my DH, Tony; Jo's DH, David; Tracy's DH, Andy and of course, drum roll please.....Waldo!

Since LBV golf course will be closed while we're there, I booked the boys at Magnolia for a 9:06 tee time. The girls and kidlets will be enjoying a loverly day at the pool whilst the boys are sweating and chasing around a little white ball all day.

Oh to be a fly on the wall during this game. Can you imagine the things that will be said about us? Well, at least they'll have one thing in common. They probably think we're all out of our minds and complain about getting burnt dinners because while it's on the stove their dear wives are DISing, totally forgetting about dinner, etc...ummm...not that I've done that....

So anywho...I've also booked DH for parasailing whilst Michael is on his Pirate Cruise on the 23rd. Hopefully he'll enjoy it...I couldn't figure out what to do with our free time...breakfast, pool, boat rental, etc...

And, shocker of all, I'm still thinking of switching some of my parks/ADR's around. I gotta get off my butt and make a decision. I've been wishy-washy about it all week for some reason. I should just sit down and do it. Real quick like ripping off a band-aid. So more will come on that, I'm sure.

BUT...let me tell you guys about this phone call I received this past weekend! I went on the Boards to PM Tracy and Jo the golf info and ended my PM with something along the lines of "I'll chat with you later" and went on to check out the most recent update on Tiggerwannabe's TR, live from Cali...when a few minutes later my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID and it said "Unknown Caller". No number. Nothing. Now, I have Sprint Privacy an annoying little feature that I can't seem to turn off. Anyone have that? HATE IT. I have to pre-program in cell phone numbers for example in order for our friends to get through. It doesn't allow anyone to call our house. It's very frustrating. I'd imagine it'd be easier to call the White House than it is to call the Hartz House.

So I'm looking at this Unknown Caller wondering if I should answer it. Finally, unable to take the suspense of knowing who got through, I answered it and heard the sweetest voice on the other end saying something like "Well you said you'd chat later" or something like that in this adorable British accent!!! Instantly I knew who it was!! It was DisneyJo! Calling little old me all the way from England!! Wow am I glad I picked up the phone!!

And no...surprisingly, she DOESN'T sound like Mary Poppins! Although I still want to hear her sing "A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down"! If I had to pick someone she sounded like, I'd say Bridget Jones, but I guess it's not very accurate as Bridget Jones was played by an American doing a British accent...

But...anywho...we had a lovely conversation and she is just as sweet "in person on the phone" as you'd imagine her to be. And funny! Yes, Jo...I said you were funny! We chatted about golf, how it was chocking down rain over there (it was a holiday there too) and her girls and shopping and skydiving...it was a great, but quick conversation, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It made my whole day!

The rest of my day was pretty dull after that excitement! We took Michael to see Shrek and then spent the rest of the day trying to talk my best friend out of her most prized possession...more to come on that by the way, hopefully by Saturday night! Nope...no Wheel of Fortune game for this one...

Anyway - it was a quick update, but more to come soon!

I think it is so cool that all of you are getting together while visiting WDW at the same time. My dad works for Disney Sports, part of which includes the golf courses. If he happens to working on that day I may just have to tell him to have a little fun with DH's and Waldo You know, maybe give him a little of the info that I have picked up from the TR's and let him drop a few tidbits here and there, really freak everyone out

Finally, unable to take the suspense of knowing who got through, I answered it and heard the sweetest voice on the other end saying something like "Well you said you'd chat later" or something like that in this adorable British accent!!! Instantly I knew who it was!! It was DisneyJo! Calling little old me all the way from England!! Wow am I glad I picked up the phone!!

Ok, let me just say, I thought about calling, BUT I didn't want to seem stalker like. Well, at least not yet! (LY,MI, Jo!) Come to find out, I'd have to PM you my cell number so you can program me in first I guess with your stealth super secret caller ID. Do I need to submit an iris scan first? So much for surprises from the Californian!

But...anywho...we had a lovely conversation and she is just as sweet "in person on the phone" as you'd imagine her to be. And funny! Yes, Jo...I said you were funny! We chatted about golf, how it was chocking down rain over there (it was a holiday there too) and her girls and shopping and skydiving...it was a great, but quick conversation, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It made my whole day!

I understand that the golf carts are now fitted with GPS...maybe there's some kind of device you can sew into Waldo's underwear so that the guys know where to find him...they can just look at the GPS on the dash board and see where he's at.
