Yep - that's right...I'm probably the only living soul under 75 that still uses Aquanet anymore. And I've used it for more than (gulp ) 20 years...
But they get sponsor credit for how my hair looked yesterday!
Not only did I have this hat that makes me look like the female version of Special Ed (for you Crank Yankers out there!) I'm going to Hawaii....YAYYYYYYY
By the way, this is my awesome instructor, Nick. Coolest guy on my planet!
Then I did this....
Notice the flapping cheeks?? AND OMG...did anyone get a look at the way my nose inflated like a pig's nose when I had my head at a certain angle in the video? Ewwwwww
And a little more of this..........
And then touched ground.....kind of like sliding into home base....
And afterward, my hair looked like this!
So thank you dear Aquanet friends...You have made a believer outta me!
Oh and by the way....
watch out for that first step...
it's a BIG one!!
OMG LL that looked awesome it's something I've always wanted to do too but like T I'm too chicken

So great to have it videoed! And you sound so cute too DH bought me gliding (not hand, aeroplane with no engine

) lesson a few years ago and it made me feel a bit sick as you go round and round to gain height, well the instructor asked me if I was OK and not wanting to be a wimp said yes, next thing I know we've done a loop the loop

It was the best diet plan ever, I felt sick for days!!!! How was your stomach?
My stomach felt great - I wish the camera had gotten all the spins I did...I would have liked to have seen how that looked. Actually, I was quite ravenous when I got done and ate a TON of McDonalds afterwards and then had dinner only 4 hours after! So much for my Weight Watchers this week!

Did you like the gliding? Sounds like fun!
Hey woman! That was
very cool. My dh was airborne during his first enlistment and he loves to jump out of "perfectly good airplanes" but helicopters are his favorite. Something else for you to try!
I think it's awesome that you did it, and even better that you let Michael watch you. He will hold onto that memory forever and, like you, will go on to live life to the fullest.
You must be feeling great at work today!
Thanks Sharkb8! I couldn't even stop thinking about it today...I wanted to call in sick and go back and do it again!! I'm still on a huge adrenaline high!
NO
YOU
DIDNT!!!!!!!!
Im so proud of you LL! Le me say, it would take a whole lot more than 21 Lapu Lapus for me to even consider doing that.
YES
I
DID!!!
You're funny...it really wasn't bad...you might like it!
OMG. My stomach hurts just watching that!

I guess I am not an adventurer. More power to you!
Thank you! I appreciate your watching! Were you one of the ones who figured it out first?
Speaking of, did ANYONE really get it right? I told you it was hard to give a clue that wouldn't give it away!
Did I mention how cool your little adventure was yesterday???

Thanks so much for sharing it with us!
Thank you - and Jordan's post was soooo sweet!!!
By the way gang, I had all good intentions of Focking you all into the camera, but....didn't work out. Know I was thinking of you all though and couldn't wait to rush home to share with my friends!!
And if any of you want to try it...even remotely...GO FOR IT!! You will have such an amazing feeling - not only of accomplishment, but an amazing feeling of...SELF...I can't explain it, and I know it sounds crazy, but I will never be the same again! And it was REALLY, REALLY nice doing something for MYSELF. For a few hours, I wasn't a wife, a mother, an employee, a volunteer, a classroom assistant, a cook and bottle-washer, etc...
I was ME.
And it was awesome!!
Peace!
