The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Eventually my eyes would've gone weird seeing that much red! I love the look of people's faces as you exit MK. They're all like "Who let them in early?" :lmao: Can you believe we'll be meeting face to face in less than 7 days?!?! SO EXCITING!!!! Are you bringing the kids along too or just Judy?

I probably shouldn't feel good about seeing that look on people's faces....but it felt great. hee hee hee.

Can you believe we'll be meeting face to face in less than 7 days?!?! SO EXCITING!!!! Are you bringing the kids along too or just Judy?

No...I can't believe it. It IS exciting.

Just Judy. I don't want to keep the kids up too late before the first day of school, plus I doubt that they want to hang with us old fogies.

Are you calling me old?:rotfl: I would've loved to meet them but I understand they need to rest before their first day of school. Even though they'll be busy trashing the house while you're gone

party:

:rotfl:

Oops. Sorry to spoil your fun. Actually, with those two nearly impossible ones, there were 17 Judy's this round.
Yep, when you add back in the one I eliminated because of the sunglasses... :cool2: Alas, I guess I would have still ended up one short unless I found those sunglasses in Judy's hand sooner. :confused3

Next round I'll just have to throw up my own "spoiler alert" if you are going to eliminate certain pictures from the competition for those who aren't capable of finding the more challenging "Judys." :sad2:

We'll probably come home and find empty root beer cans in strange places.

Those 2 were more than "challenging". In fact, I can't say that I'm absolutely 100% positive that what I can see in those pictures is her. I'm pretty sure, but....who knows.

the games at the space mountain queu looked like alot of fun, but we had fast passes and blew past them, maybe next time we will get to play with them

i figured there were some hidden judys at breakfast but my eyes were going cross while trying to find them...to much red.

Probably one of the most appropriate chapter titles I have seen.

Sorry I was so slow replying this time but I was out of town camping and we found a place with zilch cellphone coverage. :scared1:

A 7 am start would have been all but impossible with my family after staying up so late the night before. Your park commando badges are well earned!

But with the lure of 2 hours of EMH thrown in, we made the call to take advantage of the EMH, and then at park opening time we’d head over to Epcot as originally planned.

A great plan, especially if you can reach EPCOT near it's rope drop time.

She asked Judy to save them some seats.

Obviously not seasoned park commandos. With young children what are you going to do? A big group of young children has a supply chain of a small army.

Wow! Just wow!

Ah yes, we get past the fruit and move on to my favorite part of the buffet line….potatoes, eggs, and bacon!

Your preaching to the choir.

After bag-check and going through the turnstiles, we had our first sight of Main Street on this trip. PChef’ers sure know what “t shirt day” means.

The red tide has decended. All I need to do is to bring our family in a bunch of black shirts and feel right at home.

Me and the two guys who won the “ride Space Mountain with Glennbo” lottery. You can see how excited they are to have won.

Hah hah! At least it wasn't another big bald guy like on Tower of Terror. :scared1:

This ride ROCKS! I’ve read some mixed reviews, but we loved it. It wasn’t too bumpy for us…just a fun ride.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. My family fouind it a bit tame considering the coasters we have ridden on in the last two years. The bumpiness didn't bother us either.

Marlene offered to go with him, so the rest of us decided to pull up some bench and wait for them.

I'm getting a vibe that you didn't have a lot of must do's at MK this morning.

After we sat down, we remembered that we had a coupon from PChef for 2 free beverages for each of us but they had to be used today, at Magic Kingdom, before 9 o’clock.

That's just crazy. Before 9 on a hot summer day? If it were winter and they were offering coffee and cocoa then sure!

And speaking of our original plan, it was now about 8:40 am, so we decided to start leaving the park to make our way over to Epcot. We weren’t able to accomplish nearly as much as I had hoped during our extra magic hours.

Astro Orbiter, Dumbo and Aladin are slow loaders in the morning after the crowds settle in. It sounds like MK is going to be a madhouse this morning. I hope you can make it out to EPCOT without much delay.

As we finished up, we saw “N” and her family who had just gotten to the park. They got in line for the Photopass guy and we said, “We’re heading to Epcot” and started down Main Street.

Talk about not getting much done during an early EMH. :sad2:

I must say, it was kind of fun to see the look on these peoples’ faces as we left the park. They thought they were first at rope-drop and here we were leaving because we’d already ridden all the rides (okay, maybe it was only two) and gotten our fill. I know, I’m bad. But we were just the first red-shirted people they were going to encounter that day. They had no idea what they were in for.

Oh lord. I wonder if they had any idea? Was it posted anywhere that MK was having an event that day? I would have been following touringplans crowd guide but if I had seen people coming out 20 minutes before opening I would have about faced towards the TTC.

Up next: Our second casualty

Now that doesn't sound promising.

We'll get a chance to play them a little longer later in the trip.

Too much red? Try Visine. ;)

Thanks. You found.....a Dead Zone. :scared1:

Yeah, I kind of felt sorry for them, but on the other hand they went out early the day before, so they could have influenced when they made the effort to get out early I think.

Way to work "supply chain" into the thread. You don't see that every day.

Wow! Just wow!

Your preaching to the choir.

Yep, and yep.

The red tide has decended. All I need to do is to bring our family in a bunch of black shirts and feel right at home.

Oh that's right, I forgot. The Red Raiders.

Hah hah! At least it wasn't another big bald guy like on Tower of Terror. :scared1:

I would've flipped-out if I looked at that picture and it was another bald guy!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. My family fouind it a bit tame considering the coasters we have ridden on in the last two years. The bumpiness didn't bother us either.

Oh, it's definitely not "extreme". But fun.

I'm getting a vibe that you didn't have a lot of must do's at MK this morning.

I was hoping to get the Mountains done, but after James bailed on Space Mountain, I figured we should let him do one ride that he wanted to do. And after that took so long, I let go of my goal. Oh well.

That's just crazy. Before 9 on a hot summer day? If it were winter and they were offering coffee and cocoa then sure!

That would have been difficult carrying around 10 cups of coffee and cocoa.

Astro Orbiter, Dumbo and Aladin are slow loaders in the morning after the crowds settle in. It sounds like MK is going to be a madhouse this morning. I hope you can make it out to EPCOT without much delay.

Talk about not getting much done during an early EMH. :sad2:

Good info. Yeah, it was nice but not real productive ride-wise. That's all right, we had fun.

Oh lord. I wonder if they had any idea? Was it posted anywhere that MK was having an event that day? I would have been following touringplans crowd guide but if I had seen people coming out 20 minutes before opening I would have about faced towards the TTC.

I subscribed to Tourguide Mike and tried to let him know so he could put it into his recommendations (he was recommending MK that day) but my e-mail didn't work for some reason, so I said, "hey, I tried".

Now that doesn't sound promising.

Nope.

Hey Glennbo! Nifty update my friend. The quote I cracked up the most over was the caption of your Space Mountain photo. I had visions of you whipping a air chamber out of the backpack and filling it with ping pong balls.

I was also grinning at the vision of you casually strolling out of the park as the masses pondered what stroke of evil genius you had invoked to secure a private entry.

Looking forward to more.

Oh, and who's Judy?

The "elusive" one that I think Liesa and Marvin missed, was number 12. Judy is along the left edge of the photo.

I saw that one - but that Judy was wearing sunglasses and I didn't see another picture of her in sunglasses so I ruled it out.

And the next 2 (bringing the total to 17, although we accepted an answer of 15), are almost impossible to find without magnification. The first one was picture #2. The key to finding Judy is to first find Lauren, who can be more easily identified by her pony tail which was draped over her left shoulder, and the strap of a water bottle she was carrying. In this edit of the picture, I've pointed-out Lauren with a yellow arrow, and I believe only the top of Judy's head is visible, which I've circled in lime green.

And the next one, was picture #11, of Main Street. Again, it's easier to find Lauren (yellow arrow), and then I believe Judy is to her left (lime green arrow).

These last 2 were so difficult to see with the naked eye that I'm sure you can understand why the ruling committee decided to exclude them.

It was a very fun game this round!

I saw your 3 kids in that picture on Main Street and didn't see a possible Judy anywhere so I thought maybe she was hanging back with you. I did learn that the trick to finding Judy is to look for the kids though. Maybe I will get a point in this game before the trip ends.....

(With the exclusive extra magic hours, they picked the wrong day to sleep-in in my opinion, but who am I to tell people what to do?)
That reminds me a conversation I had with a guy at Magic Kingdom "a few" years ago... he was astonished that me and my family had been in the park since it opened. "But why would you want to wake up so early when you are on vacation... is time to relax!" and my answer was "Why would you want to sleep in when you are in WDW? It's time to have fun!"... hehehe! No you can't tell people what to do :rotfl:

Ah yes, we get past the fruit and move on to my favorite part of the buffet line….potatoes, eggs, and bacon!
Oh I'm so proud of you

James had a sudden case of panic and said that he didn’t want to go on. Once again there was no talking him out of it, so we gave him a cell phone, directed him to the “fraidy cat” door, and told him to meet us in the gift shop at the end of the ride.

Earlier in the morning James’ goal for our short time at the Magic Kingdom was to drive the Tomorrowland Speedway cars. Now, he had changed his mind and wanted to go on the Astro Orbiter. I couldn’t believe this kid – he wouldn’t go on Space Mountain, but now he wanted to ride this thing that spun around 40 feet off the ground, or whatever it is.
Hahaha! As you said before.. you can't really anticipate what will scare kids... I'm glad James decided to ride something "thrill-ish" :rotfl:

WOW! Awesome pictures! :thumbsup2 I've heard the "new" Space Mountain is smoother than before the refurbishment ... I can't wait to try it by myself!

Awwww! I'm again too late to participate in the game... congrats to all the winners!

Too much red? Try Visine. ;)
That works on photos too???:confused3
We're very well decorated park commandos.
I don't think that speedo at the Kidani pool counts...:scared1:
I was hoping to get the Mountains done, but after James bailed on Space Mountain, I figured we should let him do one ride that he wanted to do. And after that took so long, I let go of my goal.
The things we sacrifice for our sons.... ;)
Oh, BTW, who's Judy?
I saw that one - but that Judy was wearing sunglasses and I didn't see another picture of her in sunglasses so I ruled it out.
See, it wasn't just me who was that observant! :thumbsup2

Oh, go ahead and give her a point for noticing the sunglass thing. I bet if they were honest, all of those who just guessed it was part of Judy in the picture (and got points) didn't even notice that very significant discrepancy!!! :rotfl2:

Today was “t-shirt day” for all of the PChef people, and there were exclusive morning extra magic hours (7-9 am) for the PChef’ers at the Magic Kingdom.
Suh-weet my friend. I would have been all over that.

Somewhere in there is my first-ever Mickey waffle, but I can’t tell which one. I know it was lightly-browned and shaped like Mickey.
Wow, your memory is impressive.

Me and the two guys who won the “ride Space Mountain with Glennbo” lottery. You can see how excited they are to have won.
They do look thrilled! Are they fans of your TR? Are they also part of your Glennbo Groupies?

A little while later Judy and Lauren came back, each with an armful of water bottles and a couple of fountain drinks. We loaded them into my backpack (well, not the fountain drinks), which now felt like I was carrying around a sack of gold, only not as valuable.
You know, that totally depends on your situation. Remember that Twilight Zone episode where the guys had all that gold but they were in the desert? And the one guy had water but the other guy didn't, so he kept having to buy another drink of water? See, in that circumstance, water is MUCH more valuable. So consider yourself rich indeed.

Up next: Our second casualty
Awesome.

Yeah, I figured that out. Check my edit at the bottom of my previous post. I have to admit, I was wruh, I was wrooooo, I was..........not quite correct! There, I said it and I'm proud!!! :rolleyes1 (Yes, Poolrat, that is for your sake! lol)

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I knew it !!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yep, when you add back in the one I eliminated because of the sunglasses... :cool2: Alas, I guess I would have still ended up one short unless I found those sunglasses in Judy's hand sooner. :confused3

I know now you were not the only one to state the sunglasses as the reason to elimiate the "sunglasses" Judy from the find Judy game.

For the record, I did look in the crowd on Main street for Judy but all that red my eyes crossed and now they are stuck that way.

I tried in the ballroom too but I was looking around the immediate area more than the masses.

Great update! Red is my least color to wear!
It was a little rude of your friends to keep you waiting for them at breakfast when you just wanted to get to MK. Oh well, whatareya gonna do? ;)
I got a short note from Jordan. He seems fine and sounds like he's doing good.
