The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Wow, so many red people! Did they invent that to make the Judy-Do game more difficult?? ;)

It has made for quite an interesting game this round, hasn't it?

What a special morning, walking out of a park while others haven't yet started their day there must make you feel pretty great! :goodvibes

It did. We felt like we had gotten some kind of special celebrity treatment.

The "elusive" Judy you describe is the one I was thinking of. (Only it's the left-side of the page, not the right. I'll attribute that little slip to English not being your native language. Other than that, you described it well.)

And btw I think I never got any points for my zero sightings in your inbetween update. :confused3

Oh you're right -- you get all the points for that round.

i think #2 is a teddy bear and #15 is not her either.

I agree with all of the picture numbers you have cited! I'm not sure what the teddy bear is you're referring to in picture #2.

I'm very happy to report that we've heard back from the ruling committee and they have determined that the points for this round shall be equally split among:

Brook (for being first to guess 15)
Magdalene (for providing the first description of the "elusive" Judy)
Poolrat (for providing such a thorough listing of the 15 Judy sightings)

Congratulations! I know it must be quite an honor.

So....to let everyone know where the difficult ones were.

The "elusive" one that I think Liesa and Marvin missed, was number 12. Judy is along the left edge of the photo.

And the next 2 (bringing the total to 17, although we accepted an answer of 15), are almost impossible to find without magnification. The first one was picture #2. The key to finding Judy is to first find Lauren, who can be more easily identified by her pony tail which was draped over her left shoulder, and the strap of a water bottle she was carrying. In this edit of the picture, I've pointed-out Lauren with a yellow arrow, and I believe only the top of Judy's head is visible, which I've circled in lime green.

And the next one, was picture #11, of Main Street. Again, it's easier to find Lauren (yellow arrow), and then I believe Judy is to her left (lime green arrow).

These last 2 were so difficult to see with the naked eye that I'm sure you can understand why the ruling committee decided to exclude them.

It was a very fun game this round!

Great Fish pictures, my boys loved them.

What a fun and busy morning. Man there were a lot of red shirts eating breakfast and at MK that morning. How fun that everyone was waiting to enter as you were leaving. :lmao:

Love the violet impression on Space Mountain. Can't wait to see what Epcot had in store for you...

Holy mackerel, what a lot of red (love your segment title, by the way)!

I'd hate to be the PChef-er whose kid wandered off that morning (you know this happened to at least one person)...

Wow, that is a lot of red. And that is a big convention room (in all of our stays at the CSR, I've never seen the inside of the convention center).

I agree with all of the picture numbers you have cited! I'm not sure what the teddy bear is you're referring to in picture #2.

In #2 in the foreground on the left there is a brown blur. I thought it could be a Judy if it were hair but it was not the right color. Upon closer examination, the gold ribbon around the neck and I guess it is a teddy bear.:confused3

Perhaps if, just if everyone was not in their PChef gear of the day... We might have been able to spot Lauren, but probably not Judy. I am sure Marv would have guessed wrong and then cried foul. ;)

My problem with the buffet picture was that I incorrectly assumed the family would be close by and not so far away.

Do you remember if you were in the Coronado Ballroom? When I go for my convention, we will have our trade show set up in the Veracruz Exhibit hall which is HUGE. The Ballroom is no small space and you mentioned there were people at 2 other resorts as well. WOW

After further examination, it WAS the Coronado Ballroom ( I can tell by the seven doors that are the smaller breakout rooms, if set up that way) that boast over 60,000 sq feet. It can accommodate 4800 people banquet style.

That is a lot of red shirts. Good thing it was not a star trek mission. ;)
I can explain the red shirt reference if needed.

Thanks! Glad to hear that you put them to use and showed them to your boys!

Bonus time is good!

Love the violet impression on Space Mountain. Can't wait to see what Epcot had in store for you...

She wasn't intentionally doing her Violet impression at that moment, but the picture can give you a sense of how easily she can do one.

Holy mackerel, what a lot of red (love your segment title, by the way)!

Red was everywhere! Thanks....it was one of my TR title ideas, thought I might as well use it for this chapter.

I'd hate to be the PChef-er whose kid wandered off that morning (you know this happened to at least one person)...

Yes, can you imagine the conversation at City Hall.

"He's about this tall, has brown hair, and he's wearing...."
"Don't tell me -- let me guess -- a red shirt?"
"Yeah, how did you know?"
"Just a hunch."

Wow, that is a lot of red. And that is a big convention room (in all of our stays at the CSR, I've never seen the inside of the convention center).

Oh, glad I could show you something you hadn't seen before.

Oh I see the blur. I'm not sure but I think it's somebody's head.

That doesn't sound like somethin he'd do.

My problem with the buffet picture was that I incorrectly assumed the family would be close by and not so far away.

I had the huge benefit of having taken the picture! I knew that they started looking for a buffet line to get into, while I went further on to get a picture of the whole room.

Do you remember if you were in the Coronado Ballroom? When I go for my convention, we will have our trade show set up inthe Veracruz Exhibit hall which is HUGE. The Ballroom is no small space and you mentioned there were peopleat 2 other resorts as well. WOW

Yes, that was the Coronado Ballroom.

And people kept coming, they weren't all there at the same time. My first picture was at 6:20, not everybody can get up and get there that early.

You edited while I was replying. Ninja editing.

Good info. on the square footage and occupancy!

I get the Star Trek reference. :rotfl2: The guy in the red shirt always dies when they beam down to a planet. Have you ever seen "Galaxy Quest"? GREAT spoof on Star Trek, starring Tim Allen. There's a character named "Guy" who's always afraid he's going to get killed-off because he's just named "Guy".

Thank you, thank You vera much. :lmao:

I love Galaxy Quest. I remember "Guy". There are just so many references that spoof, I could barely recover from one before the next one hit. :rotfl2:
I agree GREAT movie.

You weren't kidding about the sea of red. I've never seen so much red.

I wouldn't have been able to pass up the extra hours either. Good choice to head out at opening. I would love to have seen the looks you got as you passed the crowd waiting for opening. I'm sure they though y'all were celebrities.

Danielle finally rode Astro on our trip June 09. It was late a night and the line didn't look that long, but it took forever. When she got off she wasn't feeling so good. I don't think I'll have to worry about the wait for that ride again. She also likes the Indy cars. Somehow we avoided them this last trip.

Okay, I just got back home after being gone all afternoon and evening taking Jonathan back to school. He wanted to come home for his birthday, and doesn't have a vehicle with him yet, so dear ole' dad had to make the R/T Friday and Sunday for him.

Anyway, after reading the responses since my last post about possibly 16 Judy's, I notice that Glenn stated a Judy sighting along the left edge of photo 12, which he believed to be the "elusive" one that Liesa and I missed. I want to request a re-ruling on this issue. If you are referring to the partial head shot in the bottom left corner, I noticed this originally as a potential Judy sighting, and the smaller head just to the right as James. However, the person in that picture, if the one I referred to is what is supposed to be Judy, I eliminated from being Judy because that picture is a person with very dark glasses rims, that appears to be sunglasses possibly, and these glasses show up nowhere else in the Judy sightings, either inside the banquet room, nor outside photos in the MK.

Am I looking at the wrong "Judy" in picture 12, or has this been identified as Judy in error, including by her butt-er half? :confused3

Okay, edited after additional research..... I guess I should have looked in Judy's hand in the castle pictures instead of focusing on her face, and I would have seen the sunglasses she was holding. If I had noticed this before, when I was quickly scanning the pictures, I would not have excluded picture 12 from my count, and it would have definitely been 15. However, I plan to take an additional look at the pictures tomorrow. I believe I see another "Judy" in picture #2, which would then make the count 16. I have a pretty good lighted magnifying glass there that should help me make the determination.

Can you imagine once the people got into the parks and saw all of those red shirts? They must have wondered what was going on.

They were puzzled, for sure.

It doesn't look like a long line, but it takes forever. Sorry to hear that she didn't feel good after riding it.

Good job Dad! I'm sure he appreciated being home for his birthday.

Sorry the sunglasses tripped you up, but yes, that's her. And you're right, it's James' head to her right.

Yeah, I figured that out. Check my edit at the bottom of my previous post. I have to admit, I was wruh, I was wrooooo, I was..........not quite correct! There, I said it and I'm proud!!! :rolleyes1 (Yes, Poolrat, that is for your sake! lol)

:rotfl2: That's pretty impressive that you found a picture of her holding her sunglasses.

Regarding picture #2 (and others), check out post #1363 on page 91.

Oh shoot, I missed that post earlier. Those were the two photos I was referring to when I made the post about 16 possible Judys. I have to admit that the particular area I was suspicious of in the banquet hall pic was not the particular blurry person I thought might be Judy though. The one in MK I had just planned to search in the general area where she ended up being, because I figured she might be in that mass of red humanity based on the earlier picture.

I wish I didn't look back at your post first, just so I could see if I would have found her with closer inspection myself. Spoil-sport!!!

Your title is awesome. :thumbsup2

You crack me up, Glenn. :rotfl: I thought you were joking when you said, "We're heading to Epcot." :rolleyes1

Oh no! A casualty??

Oops. Sorry to spoil your fun. Actually, with those two nearly impossible ones, there were 17 Judy's this round.

Your title is awesome. :thumbsup2

Thanks! No, we weren't joking. We didn't want to contend with the normal park crowd AND all of those PChef people. The next chapter will be Epcot!
