The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Haven't you ever noticed that the practice rounds are always waaaay easier than the actual game?
Yes, but every now and then even the real games toss you up a soft ball to get you overconfident!

Okay. I know you told me, but I couldn't remember what part of SC you were in.
Way in the far corner, amongst the mountains and the lakes. HHIR is a great place, and well worth the drive. I'll try and post some pictures for you sometime.

Someone said somewhere in the banter that paying at the end means the food is hot when you get it and not standing in line to pay with your food getting cold.....
Nice, that about covers it!

"Major Mooch" sounds like a good nickname.
Major Mooch, Captain Mooch, Colonel Mooch.......there are different grades of Mooches!
Well, I got the impression that the word you would want to know is "Bier" which is pronounced like "beer" (very easy to remember!) - but be warned, this is a drink which contains alcohol. It is made with water, hops and malt (and nothing else!).
What would ever give you THAT impression???

i do like how your kids are not too cool to participate in stuff and make themselves look silly...(like at the show)
They get it honest.......from Judy:lmao:

I'm so glad to hear that your husband has been enjoying my trip report also. Encourage him to get a screen-name and join in. Do we need a contest to come up with a screen-name for him? First entry: "OverShoulderReader"
I'm voting for "TheGuyWhoLovedMe."

I don't know where they get that from....we're pretty straight-laced.
Yeah right, I think I explained that already!!!!

Ok - i am officially subscribed. Your title grabbed me ... 'moist' is on my Not So Favorite Words list :rotfl:

Totally enjoying your report so far.

Hi, Glenn. I followed you over from several other TR's that we both follow. Now, back to read and catch up. :)

There are a lot of things that you could ask, "who was the first person, and what on earth possessed them, to try that?!"

great....now I can't stop thinking about them.......

Hi KatMark! :welcome: Thanks for coming over. Looking forward to your comments!

Thank you. Okay, I'm now caught up (although I did skip some of the chit chat). First, let me say, your kids are cute. Second, I have a mate for your Bichon (meet Cookie):

Second, I am glad to see that you enjoyed the Pepper Market. We've stayed at the Coronado eight times (and will be back in September for our 9th) and we have never found it confusing and we have always enjoyed the food (I like that it is prepared fresh and you pay after you eat so the food doesn't get cold).

Looking forward to the next update.

Like what? What's on your list?

I LOVE beer and tomato juice....

No you don't!

Aw! Swiffer is, um, well, he's not half the man he used to be, if you know what I mean. But maybe that'd make a good mate, I don't know.

I see you have a CSR ticket and your sig indicates a few stays. It is a nice resort!

Sorry West Coasters....I just can't stay up any later. Talk to you tomorrow.

Don't feel bad...Cookie is not the "lady" she used to be (she'll be 13 later this year), but they are great dogs.

Stop over to my PTR if you have a minute or two. :)

Like what? What's on your list?

I'd like to know what made the first person decide to drink the fermented moldy grapes.......:confused3

well, maybe it was an inccident similar to my uncle who got drunk off the hog slop at 18 months....

Haggis.....menudo.....tripe....

Pick a good one!

Is someone digging for gold??

There are a lot of things that you could ask, "who was the first person, and what on earth possessed them, to try that?!"

Clearly they were starving when they dug in.

I LOVE beer and tomato juice....

I do like red eye beer...beer, tomato juice, tabasco...

But tabasco makes EVERYTHING taste better, don't it? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

That's a new one, Cherie!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

STOP!! I'm going to puke!

So this wasn't just someone's joke? I think I might give it a try... Oh and I need to post the pics of the Berliner Weiße that I took! :goodvibes

There are so many things which make you wonder: who had the idea to roast coffee beans and then grind them and pour water over them? Who decided to eat old milk with mold on top?

MY father loves to tell the story how potatoes used to be only garden plants in Eurupe which were admired for the flowers. It was only after people figured out that they need to eat the bulbs that they became widely accepted...

Like I said in your TR Jordan, I can see why you tend to be gassy! :lmao: Now combine that with the snacks you bought at Mitsukoshi department store in your TR! I have a stomach just thinking about it. :rotfl::lmao:

Ahhhh, okay.

Remind me about your PTR if I don't get there soon. So many threads, so little time!

Sorry KatMark but Swiffer already has a girlfriend.

Pixel!

But I'd have to agree Cookie is very cute!

I thought you might have something to say about that! Great picture of Pixel, by the way. Looks like a "glamour shot".

I've never had that. I can see how it got that name.

I thought maybe you'd include dancing with a pole. :confused3

I'm gagging....

Is someone digging for gold??

No, were were talking about brain cells.....not what you're thinking of.

Clearly they were starving when they dug in.

Starvation does have a way of lowering your standards, I imagine.

But tabasco makes EVERYTHING taste better, don't it? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yep.

That's a new one, Cherie!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

STOP!! I'm going to puke!

Better pull the basketball out of your toilet now, before it's an emergency and you don't have time.

So this wasn't just someone's joke? I think I might give it a try... Oh and I need to post the pics of the Berliner Weiße that I took! :goodvibes

It probably was a joke the first time, then they went "hey, this isn't half bad".

Yes, pictures! We love pictures!

There are so many things which make you wonder: who had the idea to roast coffee beans and then grind them and pour water over them? Who decided to eat old milk with mold on top?

Don't know about the milk one, but the story with coffee is that an Ethiopian goatherder saw his goats getting all hyped-up after eating the beans of a coffee plant. Apparently it looked like fun.

MY father loves to tell the story how potatoes used to be only garden plants in Eurupe which were admired for the flowers. It was only after people figured out that they need to eat the bulbs that they became widely accepted...

I think that potatoes were a "New World" food, from South America.

Yes, what a toxic mix!

Actually, Jordan's snacks at Mitsukoshi is exactly what I'd buy too, in a heartbeat!! Wasabi peas and spicy rice crackers are the bomb!!! I can't wait to get some!!!
