The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

I am all caught up.

Nice updates. Sorry that Judy got sick but glad that she recovered enough to enjoy lunch. This year was the first that I went on the ride in Norway and I have been going to WDW since the early 80's.

Yay, glad you're caught up. Yes, it was a tough morning for her, but she pulled through. I suppose it was time to give Maelstrom a try, I guess.

Now that's what I call a beer flight! I love those guys at Biergarten. Same guys we had two years ago....at least the one with that crazy what ever its called horn!

Yummy food. Desserts look delish. I am glad Judy was feeling better and enjoyed her food.

Oh yeah! The food, beer, and entertainment at Biergarten make it a great stop on your way across the World Showcase.

:rotfl2: to having to them charging your credit card 25 cents. That's pretty funny!

I thought it was funny too. I really didn't know how much was left on the rewards card!

Six years is too long of a wait. I'm glad to hear you have it scheduled for your upcoming trip. The beer flight was good...although now I can't remember which ones I liked best. Probably the middle ones.

You were the first to post...you should have guessed!

Oh, you two aren't big seafood eaters? I think salmon was the only seafood there.

Oh Lordy No !! I am a BIG Seafood fan !!Tracey has a family member who is HIGHLY allergic to seafood !! From what we liked the same my guess is Tracey loves it also!!

I LOVE that cheesecake, one of my very favorite desserts at WDW period!

Fun update, it's such a festive, fun place, how can you not like it!

Love the title I see red people. Too funny. Never eatern at Biergarten, and probably won't because for some reason the menu does not appeal to me, but enjoyed the Ricola picture. Now Boma I agree with and love. I also only like the non-spinny side of MS. That is why I love Disney, something for everyone. Looking forward to reading more.

I know....can you imagine a big serving of it, rather than a little taster? Oh, and some coffee.

Thanks. You're right, they do a good job of providing lots of different options/experiences so that everyone can find something that would appeal to them.

You are correct sir! We have a winner!
:woohoo: I think that's the first time since I came up with the game! :cheer2:
Exactly...he was new...probably didn't know that server-etiquette yet.
It's a delicate balance
Oh, you need to try it sometime.
Probably one day, after I try a few other restaurants we haven't made it to yet
I agree Marv!!!!
Hey, Rosie being agreeable..... Not sure what to say to THAT! :confused3

How about ACHTUNG Rosie is searching for A BAD German!! International Pole Dancing begins !!!:lmao:
A bad German? Not a bad Swede? Or a bad Italian? You could take up meatball and sausage dancing to go along with the poles! :lmao:

Great update!

I love the atmosphere inside Biergarten. I know in in the minority but the was just okay. Sounds like most men love it. I went last year without DH so I'll give it another try when he can go too.

I do agree about the cheesecake.:thumbsup2 And I'm glad Judy was feeling better. Someone once told me to drink a coke when your feeling no so great after a ride. Something about the sugar and syrup in it.

Really? I'm shocked. You're always in the thick of it.

Probably one day, after I try a few other restaurants we haven't made it to yet

There are sooo many great places to choose from. Definitely makes it tough.

Great update!

Thank you!

It may be a "meat and potatoes" kind of thing, or at least "sausages and beer". Yeah, maybe your hubby would like it.

We did stop at Club Cool after Mission Space so she could drink some coke. It was her idea...it didn't occur to me. My mom always said ginger ale was good for an upset stomach. Good ol' "doctor Mom".

Looks like yall had a great time:banana:

:welcome: momn9702! Glad you're here! Yes, we were having a great time and there's more to come.

Holy smokes...I think you have the diagram exactly right. However, the rules committee can't see enough arm or anything else to determine that it's Judy, so they have asked me to inform you that they have regretfully denied your appeal. Nice try though.

i think i would like to ask for one more rulling glenn judys red starts right about here ---------------------> and stops right about <-----here

glenn i think i will politely decline your judgement rulling.

wow that took more edits than i would have thought to get those arrows in the right spot.

Sorry Glennbo but I have fallen behind on your trip report. Work and home have me jumping lately. Not from the bridge thank you very much!

I love the Biergarten pics and most everything from the buffet looks yummy. I'm glad Judy got over the nausia from Mission: Space but a nice stop in a cool restaraunt helps I'm sure.

We skipped the movie after the Maelstrom as well. There is so much to se and do at EPCOT!

Excuuuse me Marv I am always agreeable :snooty:Misunderstood maybe :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

Or I could say "I wooden know about that!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hi Glennbo, great Biergarten review. I have to ask Magdalene about the cheesecake though, it doesn't look at all like the classical German cheesecake, more like a Käse-Sahne-Torte. Or maybe you already discussed that the last time?

And one question: what is the little round thing on top of your Schnitzel? An olive????

Impressive, but the judgment committee falls back on the precedent set in the "I see red people" chapter where 2 Judy's were not included because it was too difficult to tell if they were in fact, Judy.

sweet i got bonus points for my diagram

:banana:at least in my world i got bonus points.

That's what I was thinking -- who said anything about bonus points? All right, 1 bonus point for creativity, persistence, and dumb luck.

That's okay. I'm glad you're putting your holiday to good use and getting caught up!

Thanks. We enjoyed our time there. One goal for this trip was to spend more time in World Showcase because you're right, there's so much to see and do there.

:lmao: Awesome! Only problem is....your "innocent" comments are few and far between!

Thanks. No, I don't think we talked too much about the cheesecake last time. It'd be interesting to know about the cheesecake. It's definitely not like what we think of cheesecake over here. The texture is different -- it's more creamy than ours.

I found a recipe for it on allears.net ---> Bavarian Cheesecake Recipe

And one question: what is the little round thing on top of your Schnitzel? An olive????

I think it was a mushroom, but I'm not 100% sure.

Good Morning all !!! Marv too!!!:rotfl2:I "wooden leave him out":lmao:

Morning Rosie!
