The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Just hadn't used them yet. Even though they have a time window on them for when you're supposed to return, official Disney policy (according to another website that I trust) is to accept them any time that day after the fastpass return time. In other words, they won't turn you away if you try to use your fastpass after your window has closed. So, you can collect them all day and use them at night if you want to. I've never had a problem returning after the window times.
I did not know that! You are going to have to tell me which website you found such valuable info on so I can use it too.;)
Glad my TRs are being put to good use. I expect to see a rise in the GDP any day now!
GDP? Glennbo Derogatory Posts??? Okay, just for you I'll see what I can do to help you out there! :lmao: wait for it.......................
Thank you. We really had a lot of fun with the Streetmosphere people that day.
This is one of those things that we haven't stopped and done yet at DHS. AAMOF, I don't think we've even seen them out but once, and with the crowd around them, we couldn't really tell what was going on. :confused3
They really make it fun, and they're one of those things that make each visit different. If you just go from ride to ride, after a while you have "done everything".
Yeah, that's what I was thinking..... :scared1: Scary, huh?
Yep! A new winner for this round!
Boom Baby!:cool1:
I actually saw this update last night not long after you posted it. I started to post my Judy-do sightings, but I figured after my domination in the last round (not to mention that gaff of not knowing that was Judy's arm and bracelet in that one food porn shot), I should give someone else a chance. I was actually hoping Rebecca would get off her sleeping booty and finally get to participate, but if it couldn't be her, I can't think of anyone else I would rather beat me to the points than Liesa! :rolleyes1 :sad2:
Very little comes to mind.
Well it's no wonder, what with all that packing, and planning, and shipping..........and losing half your brain with each kid you birthed!!! :rotfl2:

BTW Glenn, enjoyed the latest TR installment. Too bad for James on the one autograph! If it had just been you, I wouldn't feel so bad (how's that for a GDP? :woohoo: ). And I'm surprised after all these years of being off the market, you can still attract "beauties" everywhere you go!!! :worship:

Great update Glenn! Love the pics of the characters in SW costumes. That stinks about being in the poop chute. Sorry James missed meeting his fav celeb. Good job on scoring the Fast Pass trifecta!

Here is my famous encounter with the Street actors!!!

100_0203.jpg

Love it!

So sorry that James didn't get to see who he wanted to but am sure he got over it.

Great pics. Love the streetmosphere people. Most are so funny.

Hi Glenn. I have to apologize for lurking again. I just don't have the kind of time I'd like to spend here, but I do make a point to keep up with the updates even if I can only lurk.

I've enjoyed all the Star Wars quotes and references. When I first saw a few of them in earlier updates, I kept thinking "what a geek!" (in an affectionate way) but then it occurred to me that since I was recognizing each of them, maybe I'm more of a SW geek than I had imagined.

Can't wait to read more about your trip! :thumbsup2

Great update! Love the photopass pics!
The "streetmosphere" is so much fun! Glad James got over his disappointment quickly!

Oh yes you did!

GDP? Glennbo Derogatory Posts??? Okay, just for you I'll see what I can do to help you out there! :lmao: wait for it.......................

If that's what GDP stands for, then we should be hearing a lot more about MDP, if you know what I mean.

This is one of those things that we haven't stopped and done yet at DHS. AAMOF, I don't think we've even seen them out but once, and with the crowd around them, we couldn't really tell what was going on. :confused3

It's one of those things that you just have to be at the right place at the right time. No website can tell you where they're going to be and when. Just wander around and let the magic happen.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking..... :scared1: Scary, huh?

Yeah, it kinda is.

That's very sporting of you. Maybe next time we'll see if Brook gets in first.

Thanks, aw, what?!, and whattayou mean "surprised"?

Thanks. It's always fun to run across somebody who seems to be a little wackier than yourself. 'Course, I have friends on the DIS who just might have access to a Star Fleet uniform, <ahem>. ;)

I guess that was pretty much a trifecta for DHS, wasn't it? The biggies!

So sorry that James didn't get to see who he wanted to but am sure he got over it.

Great pics. Love the streetmosphere people. Most are so funny.

Yes, James didn't take too long to shake that off.

Thank you. The streetmosphere people were a lot of fun!

Oh that's fine Connie, I understand. Thanks for letting me know you're reading along!

I've enjoyed all the Star Wars quotes and references. When I first saw a few of them in earlier updates, I kept thinking "what a geek!" (in an affectionate way) but then it occurred to me that since I was recognizing each of them, maybe I'm more of a SW geek than I had imagined.

Thanks for clarifying that the "geek" thoughts were in a most positive way. :rotfl: And I'm glad you recognized your own geekiness and didn't make me point it out!

Can't wait to read more about your trip! :thumbsup2

Thanks!

Great update! Love the photopass pics!
The "streetmosphere" is so much fun! Glad James got over his disappointment quickly!

Thank you. It was a good time despite the little autograph setback.

:woohoo: Woot! I get the Hunchback prize!

He's ringing all the bells for you. Now don't forget, we're cheering for you to get your sightings in first on the next chapter.

Loving the TR!!!

Thank you, and :welcome: bluejasmine! I appreciate it!

Thanks! Don't worry about James, he was fine within minutes.

I thought the pics from my camera were pretty similar to the photopass ones. You can tell theirs used a flash though.

The streetmosphere people are so much fun, as long as you make the time to stop and "play" with them.

I know...I was surprised that Liza's makeup didn't run or get blotchy or whatever happens to makeup in the heat.

That was my first though..."why isn't her face melting off? I don't want to know what is IN that makeup that keeps it from melting off.

And therein lies the key. Taking the time to stop and be in the moment and PLAY.

Laugh it up, fuzzball! (To borrow a line from the “original” Star Wars, episode 4.) Don't worry that small children are in tears. (Don't worry, James got over it pretty quickly.)
To be fair, I think kids get over disappointments at WDW way faster than adults. With grown ups I always have to drag them away while hearing "But I waited for this moment for years!" or "This is the [Insert ride/character/show] I made this trip for!".

With my nephew and niece during my last trip, if a line was too long, or a ride down, or they wanted to buy something too expensive or too big to bring back home I would just say "Let's go to a [different ride]", or "Let's buy you a new pin" and that would erase any tears or tantrums in a second.

Yes, at this point I had 3 sets of fastpasses in my pocket. TSM, RnRC, and ToT. Muhahahaha!
Excellent work glennbo123!

...the lady, who looked like Liza Minelli’s better-looking younger sister (hey, you never know, she might read this)...

She said, “Are all 3 of these yours?”, pointing to the kids. “Did you get married at 12?” (Hey, I like her!!)

Then Liza’s beautiful, younger sister exclaimed, “Oh, he’s smart and he’s handsome!!” Here, you can see how smitten she obviously is with me. And the chef guy was just awestruck.
:rotfl: Way to return the compliments glennbo123! :rotfl:

Wonderful pictures of the whole family by the way!

Oh and englishrose47, that's a FANTASTIC picture :thumbsup2

I guess I should have pointed out that by characters I meant Minnie and the Goof, but your interpretation is funnier. And I have no idea what you are talking about.

When my now 19 year old was little they still had the little plastic guys that you could buy for a couple bucks apiece.....now the only ones are in "playsets" but before they were everywhere. He thought he was scared of every ride there was. We were bad parents and would bribe his with.."If you ride this you can go pick out another guy" And all of a sudden he wasn't scared anymore. By the end of the trip he had a whole popcorn bucket full of "guys"....some of them are probably still lurking in the bottom of his closet....

enjoying your trip report. I think the Leia Minnie Mouse is tooo cute!!!!!!!!!!

That is some industrial strength stuff they use, isn't it?

And therein lies the key. Taking the time to stop and be in the moment and PLAY.

Which is hard for us planners. :guilty:

:rotfl2: That is too funny! Now I see how you meant it!

Uh huh.

I think you're picturing the same video clip I'm thinking of.

If you read my trip report from last year, we had to do some bribery to get my son to ride Expedition Everest. We didn't this year, although there were times that we could have.

enjoying your trip report. I think the Leia Minnie Mouse is tooo cute!!!!!!!!!!

:welcome: LMO429! Thank you!

It makes you wonder what kind of workshop they have at Disney to create those costumes and everything. They must have some very skilled craftsmen.

I've been to WDW 5+ times and just on our most recent trip did I take the time to interact with the Streetmosphere folks. THEY ARE SO GREAT!!!! When we were there, a cop was trying to show this girl how to drive. It was HILARIOUS.

Poor James. To cheer him up, I'll pinch those cheeks of his :rotfl2:

And I'm looking forward to the DC Meet too!!:banana::banana:

It was a resounding domintation last round, Marv!! Butt, this was bigger! It was total and complete. Granted there was no miniscule arm part to decipher. Gotta take what you can.. give nothing back! pirate:

Well it's no wonder, what with all that packing, and planning, and shipping..........and losing half your brain with each kid you birthed!!! :rotfl2:

Lately, I think I"m just passing too much gas. You should see the gaff I just quaffed on my own PTR with poor Katharina!! :rotfl2::sad2::lmao: She may be thinking that she's about to meet with the biggest whacko of them all. :lmao:
