Hi All,
I just wanted to find out if anyone knew of age, weight, restrictions for the slide. I didn't get to slide down it last time and want to make a point of doing so this time. Also are there hours that the slide, and pools are open?
Minnesota:rolleyes:

It's for kids only and they monitored it pretty closely.

According to Magical Disney Cruise Guide "kids must be 4-12 years old and no more than 64" My daughters best friend, who came w/us is 11 and 65"! They allowed her to go down once... just be aware of that.

I am taking siblings, ages 3 and 6, now the 3 yo is a lot more daring than the 6 yo, will they allow the 3 yo to slide? She loves those slides!! And she follows her brother in everything! Will she be allowed on?

As long as she is potty trained. I've not seen a minimum height. There were some pretty small ones coming down last week

She is potty trained but I read somewhere that the children's pool they were allowed to wear Swimmies (the pull-ups made specially for the pool) we don't know if being in the water she'll be able to control it??

The official word is that they need to be potty trained AND no swimming diapers. I would make sure she went to the restroom before she went swimming and take periodic breaks to go if she's going to be swimming for long. With my 3 yr old DD, I keep emphasizing how important it is to tell mommy when she has to go potty. We haven't had any accidents yet, but we go swimming a lot!

MY son does not like to get his facew wet. He loves sliding as long as I catch him.. Is it deep wherer the slide lets out??

If I remember correctly, it is separate from the pool itself and might be 6" deep.

6" doesn't seem like it would be deep enough for where a slide lets out.

The slide doesn't let out into a pool. When it gets to ground level, it just extends about 15 feet and the water runs down a drain so the kids stop while still on the slide. The water just before the drain is about 6" deep. Last year my DS3 went on the slide many times. Although he swims a lot at home, he wasn't able to go under water at the time and was just fine on the slide. One of his favorite parts of the cruise!!

neat! disney thinks of everything to cater to kids!

now, if I could only get DD potty trained in the next 2 weeks (she is only 19 months, so I am not desperate to train her except for the cruise.... and I did read somewhere here about "Toilet Training your Child in One Day" - i got it and it looks good!)

Bummer, Too bad I'm 21. I love waterslides and thought it would be fun (Which it probably is) but even at only 5'1" I don't think I would be able to pass for a 12yo.
Thanks,
Minnesota
