The food outside across from the building sucks My family loves it idk why it sits out when your ordering and there is flies all over the place the nachos are dry and hard and taste like plastic!


The food inside is ok i prefer abulios or pasos

Well catycat, when you are old enough, the one thing NOT to miss at the Cantina is the MARGARITAS! OMG! Slip the bartender and an extra buck or two as you order and there's an extra long pour on the tequila! Yeah!!

They took one of the only redeeming items away years ago - the watermelon agua fresca...

Fresh watermelon juice. It was the bomb....

THey used to bring it back for Food and Wine - and then that stopped.

I have to totally agree with you. Taco Bell is better....the nachos at the ballpark are even slightly better. I can't figure out why it's so hard to have decent Mexican food at the counter service. I haven't tried the one inside - too afraid that it's like the counter service.

The food at the cantina is disgusting. There was some talk of them tearing down the existing area and rebuilding it with more seating on the water, but I haven't heard anything in quite a while.

I agree....as for the food...UCK....
Went there many years ago because someone said it was the "best Mexican food in FL" well I have had frozen mexican food (TV dinners) as a kid that were better! Those friends need to eat REAL Mexican food!!!
Went again about a year ago with another friend and it was the same and the service was so bad. The waiter was so rude.....so...never again!

Yeah, the food is much better after a couple of Margaritas!
Actually the margaritas improve just about anything....
