I finally found out why my January trip ended up such a mess. Long story!
So, we planned a trip to Disney with my DS God sisters and the God Family gave us their timeshare at Bonnet Creek fairfield to stay in.
God sister Emily helps with my son's ABA program for his autism. She comes every other day and our team leader come every day.
Emily didn't show up one day, she forgot. The team leader, also a high school girl we voted to lead, complained to the teacher in charge of the program that Emily didn't show up. Teacher calls parent, Godmother and Godmother calls me upset but I didn't think anything about it.
A week later God family cancels the girls trip with us and also takes away the timeshare which left me in such a mess! Thanks to a member who wishes to remain unamed but she is in the midland, she gave me a Christmas present of a studio at OKW. Then she slipped that she had to borrow from 08 and I knew the person who wanted to help me the most, because she has had tragedy in her life with her daughter, who knows my sorrows, was in the least position to help. I prayed each nite about what to do! I needed a place to stay but couldn't take the gift. I called her and wrote her and explained that we love her for offering but we felt she was not in a position to help but thank you!!!! Dearest L, you are a life saver and we will remember you forever!
So I rented points from a nice man and his wife, it was a fair deal and I put it on a credit card with paypal so I can pay it off. We are missing one nite on the 15th at SSR, but have faith.
Back to the story. DS's program is going so well that I decided not to use the consultant at $75 per hour. She came over and we were just talking about the program when she says. It will be so much better with just Amanda. Now you don't have to worry about mixing family with the program. Hummmm.
Come to find out the phone call from the teacher to the Godmother to me was not a little thing. Feelings were hurt. Emily quit the program and that is why the God parents canceled the trip and took away the lodging.
It was nothing I did or said. In fact is was the actions of others.
Finally, I know the truth! Lessons learned: Don't hire family or close friends, when it goes wrong you can't do anything about it.
In the end, I have my God family and this will pass. We are going to Disney and we have the magic.
