I've been reading another board and saw where others have said they "bypass" the ME desk at MCO and just get on the bus with the vouchers you get in the mail... Is this true? Can you do this? We will be getting our own bags as we are arriving the night before we take ME and staying at the airport hotel, so do we need to wait in the line at the ME desk??:confused3 or can we just get in line with our vouchers?

Thanks!:)

there was a podium in the aisle. The CM at the podium was looking at everyone's documents and sending them either directly to the bus line (most people) or to the ME desk (not too many). Don't know how they decide where one goes but that's what they were doing on our last trip. BTW, we were sent directly to the bus line.

I think it just depends on what day it is. There are reports that people with their vouchers in hand, have been directed right thru to the 'red carpet' and into the bus lines. Others have said they still had to stand in line. So I think it just depends on what 'mode' they are in that day :confused3

The last three times that I used ME (Aug, OCT and JUST last Thursday) if you had your vouchers you were waved through to the podium if you didn't or had a issue that needed to be sorted out you had to go to the counter. I had to use the counter this trip because I didn't recieve my packet in the mail, the previous two trips I by passed the counter and went directly to the podium by the bus lines. On Thursday the "line" at the counter was non existent.

I knew I read about this somewhere!! :goodvibes

Now is ME still on the B side of the airport?

Oh, totally unrelated, but FYI, if you are staying the night before at Hyatt AT the airport, they have a service that you may find helpful. When you check out, you can put your unused yellow DME tags on your bags up at the hotel and their bell services staff will get your bags behind the scenes to the DME luggage trucks.

That way you can go downstairs without bags and without lugging them on the DME bus :-)

Yep. I have not used the service personally, but have read on here where folks have done it. Just ask at the hotel. As always, this is subject to change at any time!!
