Tried to sleep a little later today because we will be up late tonight - but I was raring to go at 9:00. I walked over and got muffins and coffee for the room for all of us. Mom and dad went off on their own. We had originally planned on going to Blizzard Beach today but it was too cold. So we went shopping instead!
Spent about an hour in the Christmas shop, mostly in line, this place is soooo packed! Got some ornaments and picked up some dog ornaments for Shawn and Lisa who were helping watch over out animals at home. I got a Tigger stapler - it's so cute! Then we went to the Disney store for about an hour or more. DadMc bought tons of souvenirs here - over $170 worth! I bought a Tigger cap and Danny got a Pluto t-Shirt. We bought Steve and Jen (the other couple who were watching our animals) a Pluto stuffed animal that barks.
Went to the Rainforest Café at about 3:00 with no wait - had a couple of good pasta dishes and once again some good drinks and DadMc bought the glasses. As we are waiting for our meals, who walks by but Danny, Peggy and Casey! They had spent the day shopping too. Casey bought a really cute pink hat that she could put pins on.
Back to the room to change for MVMCP. I bought a sweatshirt in the hotel store because it was quite chilly and we definitely did not bring enough warm clothes. Met mom and dad at the busses at about 7-7:15 to go to MK. Buses took a long time and we didn't get there until 8:00. Ran over to Buzz Light Year and rode that once, when we came out, Dan Peg and Casey were there so we went right back in. Then to Space Mountain, this will always be one of my favorites. Casey rode it for the first time and she loved it! No lines at all - yet.
The girls (not me) rode the teacups and then we went to pooh - about a 20 minute wait, this was cute, I liked the bouncing part with Tigger. Then we did the Carousel and IASW and Snow White, then we went to see the fireworks. I had a tip on watching them by the teacups but they wanted to see Tinkerbell fly (I knew who would actually fly but didn't tell them) so we went to find a spot over by the castle, but we picked a bad spot because most of the fireworks were behind the trees, but we did had a good view of Tinkerbell - I mean Rudolph!!! When the fireworks went off all around that was beautiful.
Then we went over to Haunted Mansion, DadMc really got a kick out of this and loved the hitchhiking ghosts at the end. Got a good spot for the parade, same place as two years ago, just outside the coffee shop across from the Christmas shop. Parade was wonderful and we taped the whole thing. After the parade we went on Thunder Mountain two times, there were no lines. Laughed a lot on this and Casey was making us all have our hands up! Mom was laughing hysterically the whole time. Splash Mountain had closed for a little bit but we came back later and did this as our last ride. Tried to take a picture at the top of the ride (but it didn't come out.) We all got a little wet and we slowly walked out of the park at 1:15 am. Finally stopped to have our picture taken (boy did we look tired.) Home and to bed by 2:00, tired, but we had another Zip-a-de-do-da-day!
