The MAY freaks! Celebrating 1 year of marriage! PTR STARTED!!

It has it's advantages... but seriously, all of my closest friends are 5'0"-5'3", so I look like the Jolly Green Giant every time we take group photos. I'm in a wedding next week and I'm the same height or taller than all of the guys except the best man. And I'm not the MOH, so I'm not walking with him. And I have to wear heels. Sweeeeet!

Oh that stinks. Most of my friends are around my height so I'm not that short lol.

Speaking of weddings my BF wedding is Friday!! I'm so excited. I have my speech all ready and set so my job is done!! Now I get to have fun lol.

CONT...

So we couldn't get on Universe of Energy.. lol. So we decided to head over to Coral Reef a little early. Along the way we saw a band outside. I have never seen these guys. They are there for F&G festival. They use gardening materials and trash cans. It was cool.

When we got to the restaurant we checked in a little early, and we were seated 5 mins later. It was kind of crowded in there already, it was only like 5:00 PM. Next time we will be doing lunch when they first open. I like going to the restaurants when they first open because they are so much more peaceful.

Here was our view! Very nice. I love it here.
IMG_2348.jpg

Our server was great. We always have good service here. We do in all the restaurants. I don't think we have ever had a bad service.

Tim had the lobster bisque for an app.
IMG_2349.jpg

I didn't get one. Here is the bread. I love it. It's so good. When we do deluxe dining I'm going to have to lay off the bread. I fill up on bread that I can never finish my meal. And no more filling drinks. Just water with lemon lol.

IMG_2350.jpg

Tim had the Grilled Mahi Mahi, he loved it.
IMG_2352.jpg

and I had the steak!!!! I still swear this is the best flavored steak in the world. So juicy and flavorful.
IMG_2351.jpg

For dessert Tim had the Bailey's and Jack Daniel Mousse. He liked it.
IMG_2353.jpg

I had the chocolate wave! It was really good.
IMG_2354.jpg

HAHA I tried to bite into the pink balloon. Yeah that wasn't happening lol.

Very good! We will be back. One of our favorite places to eat. We will be doing lunch in Jan though. Same menu basically.

After dinner we made our way over to the UK. I wanted to get my pictures with Tigger, Pooh, and Eyeore. They are the best in the UK. You will have the best character interaction with them here.

I couldn't resist taking pictures of the flowers along the way.
IMG_2355.jpg

IMG_2356.jpg

This little play ground area was really cute.

IMG_2357.jpg

When we got to The UK I got in line. The people in front of me had a little baby. OMG look how stinking cute!!!!

IMG_2358.jpg

IMG_2359.jpg

IMG_2360.jpg

IMG_2361-2.jpg

How precious is that? Tim and I thought it was one of the cutest things we have ever seen.

There was one more girl in front of me. They were funny with her. She ignored eyeore so he got upset and looked in the corner.
IMG_2362.jpg

then he turned around haha
IMG_2363.jpg

Pooh and Tigger started fighting
IMG_2364.jpg

Tigger kicks Pooh's butt LMAO
IMG_2365.jpg

They applauded her as she left LOL
IMG_2366.jpg

So next it was my turn. These guys were nuts with me. The woman behind me was mad LOL. Tim told me she was like "OK dude (meaning photopass guy) she has enough pictures" LOL. Not my fault photopass guy kept snapping away, and the characters wouldn't let me go lol. Seriously it was maybe like 3 minutes. People freak out over stupid stuff lol. Oh well.

Eyeore feels left out
IMG_2374.jpg

Pooh now had Tigger pinned to the floor and Tigger is trying to get up.
IMG_2375.jpg

Eyeore turns around and starts dancing to The Beatles (they were playing)
IMG_2377.jpg

Pooh finally lets Tigger up
IMG_2378.jpg

Eyeore starts crying cause he felt left out
Image270.jpg

Aww he's so cute
Image274.jpg

Pooh stole me away
Image276.jpg

Finally a picture with the whole gang!!
Image277.jpg

While we were leaving, Eyeore came out and started to put on a show LOL.

They were a blast. Make sure you visit them when you go.

Eyore's Pink tail is so stinkin' cute!! Seems like you had a blast in there... i have to agree that little girl was soooooooooo adorable.. that is so sweet.

hahaha, that has to be one of the best series of character pictures I've ever seen. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for them when we're there

Oh yum! Coral Reef look so good! We love it there too. The wave desert is so good. Now I want chocolate, thanks a lot! LOL

Love the Pooh character pictures! Looks like you had a blast with them. I bet that woman wouldn't have been complaining if the characters & Photopass photographers were spending as much time on her & her family! :rotfl: People forget that EVERYONE can be a kid at Disney!

Look forward to the next post. I'm enjoying all of the pictures!!

How freaking cute!! I love me some Winnie the Pooh characters, so I'm going to have to hunt them down. I didn't realize they still did UK. I thought I was going to have to make reservations at Crystal Palace to see them.

Great series of pics!

I LOVE your trip reports! I've almost gotten through all of them now - Wedding, October and now May! I love all of your character pictures - I'm going to convince my husband to find every character when we go in August! :rolleyes1

I seriously think that we may have been separated at birth -- I LOVE Disney World (I wanted to get married there as well - but settled for a disneymoon instead...but have convinced my husband that we'll renew our vows there!), I would love to run a half-marathon (hopefully a Disney one in the future - but can't seem to get past the 3-4 mile mark), I also am a teacher (high school), and...even have naturally curly hair! :goodvibes

You've also inspired me to start my own pre-trip report! We'll be going during free dining - but am a little scared of the heat. Unfortunately, being a teacher means I need to follow the school schedule!

I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts!

OMG i was dying laughing at those pooh character pictures! especially the ones of Eeyore standing in the corner :rotfl: i just love him! And the baby sitting with them was sooo cutee!

and um...was that a real balloon in your dessert dish at coral reef? Lol! I probably would have tried to bite into it too

Whew!!!

I discovered your thread from another TR recently....but that one linked to page 65. I liked your pics, so today I decided to tackle the whole beast. WOW!! 1551 posts later, here I am.

Love your report...love the details, the humor, and all the great pics.

On my last trip with my wife and sister this past December (only 3 days) my appreciation for Hollywood Studios grew. After seeing your pics from there, though, I feel like that is just a perfect park to spend a day walking around and having fun. Awesome!

ALSO, the playground in Epcot....I don't remember it....where is it located?

Thanks! Look forward to hearing the rest of the report....

That little girl with pooh and friends was adorable! You had wonderful interaction...how adorable! It looks like you had a lot of fun...they are really good back in the UK we visited with them in Jan! Coral Reef is normally busy, but worth it since the food is pretty good! I think you'll like lunch time there...it was very low key and uncrowded! :thumbsup2

HAHA yeah they think they can rent like a lamborghini or something lol!

I don't want that... I said a Chevelle.

I agree.. put that money towards something else.. maybe another tour?!! :lmao: They do think they can rent lamborgini's or a classic car everywhere they go!!

You can, you just gotta know where to go lol. I told her she can get the deluxe instead of renting a car so that's where the money is going.

Then hit buzz! Tim cheats cause he steers so of course when I'm on my side trying to hit targets he turns me lol.

I will bet you, a Thomas Kinkade painting of Cinderella's castle, that if you are in control I will beat you by at least 20,000 points. It's not because I'm in control... it's cause I'm better than you lol:thumbsup2 Oh and if I beat you, you gotta buy me a bunch of pins lol.

Lol, Lance Armstrong!!

Nice update Lynn

I loved that pic of Tim pin trading. The people are looking at him so funny.

They're just jealous...

I was a few days behind! Great updates!! Love the pictures of you jumping in front of the castle. Like the one with the balloons done by photopass too. I haven't seen that one before.

Hi Lynn, I am loving the trip report! We just got back from the Tampa/Clearwater area to spend a week at the beach and guess what? I cannot sit still and do nothing on a beach, it drove me CRAZY! So....we get home and on Saturday I tell my hubby how much I am missing Disney and he says "well, why don't you and the kids go over the 4th of July holiday" and that's all it took! So, the kids and I are heading out to Disney on the 3rd of July and coming back home on the 7th! I figure this way, I will only use up 2 vacation days, since I just used up 5 days last week! My hubby travels a lot for his job and he said that he was most likely going to be in Boston over the r4th anyway so I might as well go...Am I crazy or what? Any Hoo, we are going to stay at the Coronado Resort, which we have never stayed at and about the only thing that we have set up is Tony's at the Magic Kingdom for lunch and then on the 7th we are heading to T-Rex for lunch before we fly out. Have you done any of this, and if so, what did you think? We normally stay at the French Quarter, so this is all new to us. We will be doing the Magic Kingdom on the 4th and I know that it will probably be crazy crowded and super hot, but I am up for the challenge.

Stacy:banana:

Wow I haven't been on for a few days and I missed alot. Love all of your updates. I'm really happy with your review of the Coral Reef. We'll be going there for the first time in August and weren't too sure about it. I'll definately be having the mahi mahi and my husband and oldest son will be having the steak.:goodvibes

The Pooh gang with that baby was just too cute! I love the one pic where Eeyore is looking down at her lovingly, and Tigger is laying on the ground. Those are adorable!

BTW, your foot looked awful. What did you do to it? Did I miss that part??
