I had to cancel my trip that was suppose to happen in 6 short days. So, I'm sad but I've decided to cure the sadness I'll plan my next trip. It's May 2007 for us. We love the Flower & Garden Festival. Such a beautiful time to go.

I haven't booked anything yet. But, I'm considering going ahead and booking at rack rate - the Poly - and then when the time nears lurking here for an AP discount code. That way I can go ahead and start saving, perhaps even paying payments to Disney. Does anyone do that???

Here's hoping for a big fat code! Of course, we have a long way to go. This is the longest lead time I've ever had for planning a trip. We don't typically plan until about 2-3 months out but I'm going to plan far far ahead this time. I can't believe we have 9 whole months to go. I haven't even picked dates in May but I'm thinking early May. Perhaps the first week.

Okay, its official...we're booked! We're doing the May 27th Wonder 4 day Cruise and then my AAA TA just booked us at the POR for 5/31-6/3. We were able to get a AAA discount rate (it looks like its 15% off the summer rack rate, although its hard to figure exactly with all the tax changes, etc). So now I guess we just wait and hope Disney offers some other exceptional deals for that time period???? One can always hope, right?

Annual Pass Holder discounts for May 2007 probably won't be released until February. At least that's the way it has been the last couple years. You can however book through a AAA TA to get the AAA room discount and then add the dining plan and tickets. Packages booked directly through CRO will not allow you to apply the AAA discount to the room portion.

I applied the AAA discount to my reservation for Pop in March of 07 and it was 15% off.

Yay....just called and got the AAA discount applied to our 5/12-5/17 stay at WL! First time to WDW and so happy to hear the Flower and Garden show will be there.

Coronado Springs is such a beautiful hotel! We will be staying there on our May 17-May 27th Disney Vaca!

Going to try and book the beach club the kids realy want to go to the pool their but our home is Saratoga so can't call till end of Aug. We will still go in May. I love the fesitval of Flowers I buy the hawaiin lay plants they are so easy to take care of and look great.

Booked my trip tonight!!!! I am so excited! And freaked out by the total now that I've booked LOL We booked 10 nights, 10 day hoppers, and the dining plan for $4251 AAA @ POR May 23-June 2. We added an extra night because it was actually saving us money (in Disney math, at least! hehe). We planned to stay off site the first night and check in on the 24th but the 23rd is the last day of regular season - rates go up $10 a night on the 24th. We've now got enough credits to go to CA Grill This works out better all around! Woohooo!!!

We are starting to plan our own family "Magical Gathering" for up to 20 people for May. We may have to book a couple of houses off site but I'm hoping for a good rate to make it more economical to stay on site. and so the wait begins....
