The mark doesn't come up on my posts

You know how on the side of the posts you make a little black dot comes up to show which posts are yours...well, my posts don't dot hat anymore. I'm logged in and everything is right so can anything tell me what's wrong.

They have taken away and put back the black dots periodically. I beleive it hampers the system performance.
