The March 2014 Thread!!!!

We got back yesterday, had a wonderful trip! The weather was great, crowds weren't bad except at MK on Mardi Gras. Magic bands worked perfectly, FP+ worked pretty well for us all things considered. Memory Maker was definitely worth it, too. Sad to be back and already thinking about another trip in September. Hope everyone has a great trip!

One week out! Going to buy our travel sized toiletries and things today. My daughter is already packed! I'm ready for sunshine and high 70s low 80s. This winter has really been a bummer, weather wise.

I also want to pre-apologize to any of you traveling between the 17th and the 22nd, particularly anyone else staying at the Wilderness Lodge during that time frame, for my husband's possibly rather non-magical behavior. Dr.Jekyll/Mr. Hyde insisted on joining us again this trip. I'm preparing another trip report for this one.

Just found this thread! We will be there March 15-21 at the Contemporary Resort. 1 week left to go! I just started packing yesterday. Its so great to see everybody's trip updates as people start taking there March vacations!

Just finished doing most of my packing. Can't believe we are going next Saturday. This is the first time that I ever felt like a trip came quick for us, but it is also the first time going more than once in 12 months.

Oh, he's something allright, LOL, but I don't know if I would say he's a "hoot". He's also on Atkins at the moment, so all delicious, calorie laden Disney treats are out, and so is beer. This trip may be worse than that last one. He's a rather impatient, angry person. But, he's MY impatient, angry person and I love him nonetheless. I just don't always like him. ;-)

Both our daughter and I have tried to convince him multiple times that he doesn't really want to go. He doesn't like it there, he really dislikes everything about it, but alas he still insisted. *SIGH* I'm just hoping to keep the fits to a minimum.

March 14th thru the 20th staying at WL. Cannot wait to take our granddaughter for her first time to WDW. We are so excited to do Cinderellas Royal Table as well as Chef Mickeys. We also have a pontoon reserved for Illuminations. We keep changing the date because of the weather but are quickly realizing we are not going to know anything until the few days before. Hope to see some Colorado people there, when I was at the shoe store in the mall they said I was the 3rd person there that day that was heading to WDW

We are from Colorado too! (Colorado Springs) looks like we'll just miss you though, we don't get there until the 21st. CRT and CM are both so much fun

Wow, how long is the flight from Australia. Presumably the time difference allows you to leave and arrive on the same day? It's nearly 10 hours for us from the UK. Hope you enjoy your first US trip

Hi Wilma, we have a 2 hour flight from Adelaide to Sydney and then it's 15 hours from Sydney to Texas and then another 2 over to Florida! I'm dreading it to be honest, but I reckon it will be worth it when we get there

We returned on Friday. What a fabulous trip! Jetblue waived the changing fees because of the weather so we got out early. Almost every day was sunshine and the crowds weren't bad at all. Magic bands were awesome!

Us too, glad the storm is a few days before we travel! I looked at the forecast for next week and we are making sure to bring umbrellas and ponchos. Have a great trip!

Ditto on that! Just 2 days to go for me; weather looks pretty decent down there...especially since it's going to be 65 here today and 25 tomorrow.
