The Mara and QC vouchers!

We went to the Mara at Animal Kindgdom Lodge for lunch one day with our Quick and Casual vouchers and all I can say is this was a great deal!! The food was FANTASTIC! We had fried shrimp with french fries, pawprint brownies, and a soda. The total was $16.05. Definitely worth my $11 voucher. If you need somewhere quick to go it is a nice place to visit during the day!

We agree. We also had shrimp on our vouchers and chose zebra domes for our dessert.

I just recently heard about this restaurant. Can anyone tell me a little about it? Is it similar to Roaring Forks at the WL? Not meaning the food or the theming, but rather the set up, size, toasters??? thanks.

We used Q & C vouchers twice at the Mara. Both time we got a double bacon cheeseburger meal and ordered an extra bun. then we got a drink or smoothie and the great Zebra Domes(also came with chocolate mousse). I paid $10.00 for the vouchers and the total meal came to$17.00. Great deal and it fed me my DH and DD(7).

Are the burgers at Mara better or comparable to Beaches & Cream's?

When we stayed there in Feb we were surprised for the prices how good it was. Wife thought the the double cheese burgers were good and she tried a couple of the soups and found them to be pretty good. They were the same soups at that time to be served at Bomas. I liked the African Stew served in the bread bowl.
