My very first adventure to Walt Disney World is complete and I couldn't wait to share my trip report with all of you. In case you're unaware, I attended with my good friends Joe & Robert, who took me along on their grand adventure to the World. In this thread, I'm going to show you all of my photos and share my story.

We Have Arrived!!!

We checked into our resort, the Pop Century, here I am in front of the resort, I can't wait to get started.

Our room was on the 2nd floor in the 60's building. You can also see the 50's building behind me as well, what a neat looking place.

Here I am just after climbing the stairs...they were inside a giant Yo-Yo, how cool is that?

The room looks nice and comfy. Sure hope the bed is comfortable, I'm sure I'll need my sleep after long days of walking the parks.

Here I am at the bus stop, on my way to Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island, I just can't wait.

We had a nice dinner at Planet Hollywood, and I met this adorable looking character!!!

Here I am in front of Pleasure Island, I can't believe they're going to close this down. Let's all sing..."Marching along we're adventurers..."

We met up with Darcy and Patty at Fulton's for some drinks. I kinda got into my drink a little, but that's ok, I got the glass good and clean!!!

Rob ordered an appitizer and I really liked the bread. He said I was the "upper crust".

We were feeling pretty good, so some of the gang tried on funny hats...I took the pictures, what do you think?

Here I am at Downtown Disney Marketplace to do a bit of shopping.

I wanted a pressed penny, but it was out of order...

So I climbed inside and got it all fixed....

Lucky for me, I'm already flat.

After a long day of driving, its time for bed. Here I am snuggled under the covers, the beds are comfy...I'm glad.

Excuse me, but I seem to remember that You (flat Amy) got into a LITTLE BIT more trouble that day than you are admitting to. You did meet a few people in the evening at DTD and did even MORE shopping. . .And don't forget the hats. . .

Flat Amy sure was a handful I'll say that. She wanted her picture in front of everything it seemed. Oh well, I suppose that's alright for a first-timer, maybe she'll be better behaved next year.

The next few posts will be from the Magic Kingdom. We'll start on Main Street, where the fun always begins...it was so exciting.

I overslept a bit the first morning...as you can see. But that's ok, there's still plenty of time for lots of fun at the Magic Kingdom!!!

Here I am waiting for the bus. Its way more crowded this time, but that's ok, I like meeting new people.

I finally get to see the castle from Main Street, such a beautiful site!!!

On the way down Main Street, I ran into a couple of cuddly characters...all dressed up just for me!!!

Isn't the castle just wonderful...maybe they'll let me spend the night?

A bit closer...

I decided to pose with Mickey and Minnie topiaries. They told me I had to leave, but I just said "Its ok, I'm from Connecticut".

I also met Jim, the piano man!!! He was a very nice guy to take time out and pose with me.

I had to get a pair of Mouse Ears since it was my first trip. I think they look nice, don't you?

Sorry, I just love that castle don't you?

Crystal Palace is so nice. Maybe next time they'll take me to eat there.

They were getting ready for the Halloween Party too...but it isn't too scary!!!
