Thanks, Heidi... I feel fine, and it was a snow day. I have a doctor's appointment at 2:00 for the wrist. The snow's supposed to stop by 1:00.

I don't know, I just can't extend it or walk on it... Hurts badly!

I ended up crashing right after my last post. Know nothing till 7 central this morning. Still hurts. Still can't walk!

The restaurant was fantastic! We first went there last March on our last trip. It was a trip where we had NO ADR's at all! This is how we discovered that we LOVE to dine early when nobody else does.

We ended up at PYC at 5:30 pm one evening and were the only ones in the restaurant. We ate outside that time also. This is when LtP ordered the sausage and noodles.

It's so relaxing to sit out on the patio, under the canopy and enjoy the views of the lake.

Plus, the service is FIRST RATE!

Like Jordan stated, they serve roasted garlic cloves with the bread. Although I couldn't eat the bread, I made short work of two cloves. All i needed was a spoon!

Great info MDF, thanks. We are tring to decide on a place to eat our first night. We expect to arrive between 2 & 3 in the afternoon, might be a perfect place to unwind from the trip.

They are in Florida Michelle, and they sell wine in the grocery store. Makes us drinkers very happy.

They sell wine in the grocery store here in Indiana too, but you still can't buy it on Sunday. That aisle in the stores is sometimes roped off, but there's also a sign saying that it's illegal to buy alcohol on Sunday. Of course, you can go to a bar or restaurant and buy all you want... Not sure what century our state is living in sometimes...

We've got an Earl in the next town over. It's quite busy all the time. We've been a few times, but it's just not the same atmosphere as at DTD. The food was still good though.

Well, I think I'm on the mend! Man, this was a bad one. The weekend was the absolute worst. I want to comment on so many things, but you guys all went nuts when I was sick... so here's a few thoughts before I head back to the couch...

Lintasare-I've got that 5 minute long coughing fit going too. Really nice when it wakes you up at 3 am. I can't wait to feel healthy again. I lost my sense of taste and smell (lucky for me that happened once Buzz got home). It was so weird-that's never happened to me before. I couldn't taste a thing. It sucked. Buzz even made dinner last night and I knew it was good, but couldn't really taste it. LeeAndra was horrified to see him at the stove! She said, "Mom!! What is Daddy doing cooking all by himself???"

The Rock & Roll Club is closing???? Is that the Rock & Roll Beach Club where the bands play? I love that place.

GeminiAngel-Nova looks gorgeous in her wig! I love that picture of her.

Heidi-I let LA pick out her own clothes too! Some days, it's hysterical! Some days it's downright comical, but she likes her outfits. She is still wearing her Halloween socks. Our prissy "friend" was horrified-she won't let her kid wear holiday stuff after the holiday. I figure-whatever. I'm not going to argue over her clothes. If she wants to wear Halloween socks in January, whatever.

I went to the dr. yesterday and got some meds. I came home and Trey, my little boy with the speech problem says, "Mom's home!! Mom's gonna lay in bed again!!" He's making good, I mean, gud, progress.

And now for a sad note. I reached into my glove box to retrieve my favorite Mickey sunglasses and they broke. And can't be repaired. Must buy some new ones in March. Missing my old glasses....

I almost caught this squirrel but the little bugger made it up the tree. I had his tail in my teeth for a brief moment.

Ahem! That beer wasn't even opened!! And I chastised Buz for even taking that stupid picture. .

LG does NOT like beer & wine. She caught me drinking a root beer out of a bottle a few days ago and had a fit-thought I was drinking a "stinky beer." And she will not get anywhere near a bottle or glass of wine. Trey on the other hand-he puts our wine glasses away for us. Only problem is he puts them away dirty for some reason.
