Wow, that was a lot of catching up!

Aren't chicken fetus's just eggs?? Scrambled eggs with bbq sauce? It really doesn't sound bad when you think of it that way.

No they are eggs with chicks inside. they are a delicacy in some countries.(Buzz,,enter your own Canadian joke here) YUK! Especially after watching one of our hens hatch eggs, Awsome! :cloud9:

DawnMarEE,:thumbsup2 Edys is 2.99 at Stop & Shop this week! :cool1:

Wait a minute ... we don't have Stop & Shop's. Plus I never buy ice cream from those kinds of places. I've found they aren't as good, with ice crystals sometimes. I'm willing to pay the $3.99 usual here in NY.

Uh... Re-Gift them to MDF!!!
I was going to say that but then thought again. Now I wish I did! :headache:

Catching Up. Sheesh, I'm really far behind now :headache:
That's what happens when a little thing like "work" gets in the way!

What's your favourite Canadian beer??
I just thought, maybe you could bring some down here and I'll pay you for it. There's no duty if you are giving a gift, right, plus it's not that much ... :confused3

Who's the suck-up now??????? :rolleyes1

OOO,Thats so sad,,:sad1: where`d you find that?! I wish I had a picture on my photobucket acct of my babies,,:guilty:

The contestants on Survivor had to eat those last Thursday. It's a delicacy in China.

I'm with you guys!

Hey DM, great "smiley". :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm stuck using what's available on the DIS. :sad2:

Uh,, I didn't go for 4 days on this trip! :lmao: Buzz was astounded. It was Thursday I think by the time my system got working again. I think I took too much medication! :sad2: Live & learn.
OMG thanks for sharing that info :rotfl2:

Buzz Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww on those chicken things :scared:

Mmmmm... Chicken Fetus.

Needs salt and BBQ Sauce ::yes::
As long as you are eating it you can have WHATEVER you want on it. After all, it is meat! What do feathers and bones count as?

I saw that Survivor episode, (I am so going on that show one day). I was doing good until they came to the fetus's.

Delicacy, schmelicacy. I don't think so!!

Tribal counsel for me!

Good morning!

blue-my dad always wore shirts like that! He loved them! :goodvibes

Ok, now for this next installment: Let me back up to the first night for a minute. I forgot to mention that when we ate at Friday's that first night Trey was starting to get mad at dinner. He's afraid of the dark for some reason, always has been. So he gets panicky and very mean if he's out and it's starting to get dark. Things get downright ugly.

So after Friday's, night was falling and he was getting mad and we still had grocery shopping to do. :scared1: He was totally p.o.'d when he heard this and was crabby all through the store.

Buzz was trying to hurry us along and I hate to be hurried when I don't have a list b/c I know I'll forget something critical. On this diet, I eat boiled eggs for breakfast everyday. Well, not everyday, but a lot. So I insisisted we buy eggs. This was met with a lot of opposition on Buzz's part. They were 2 dollars and some cents a dozen and he didn't think we needed them (because he didn't need them, never mind what I need). So I forced him and we got the eggs after quite a battle.

We get back to the hotel. Did we mention we're on the 3rd floor and there's no elevator. I'm loving that. :sad2: So I make sure everyone takes a bag or two up with them, which leaves me with about 10 bags to carry and that includes 2 12 packs of pop, 2 big bottles of wine and the eggs. I huff and puff my way up the 3 flights of stupid stairs, get to the top and CRASH. Dropped the eggs I worked so hard to get! :rotfl2: Broke 'em all! :rotfl2: Buzz couldn't believe it! I was laughing so hard...:rotfl2:

So back to Trey, he's not real happy on this trip so far. He's ok as long as he gets to do what HE wants, but if it's something anyone else wants, he gets really mean. I'm trying to work with him on this. It's very hard-the only thing that works is if I get really mean and make my voice really mean. It scares everyone, including Buzz when I do that. I don't like to have other people hear me when I'm being like that b/c I'm sure they think I'm just a witch, but it's the only thing that works with Trey.

I've avoided this so far b/c we're on vacation and I want everyone to be happy, but he's clearly not. And since he's not, he's bound and determined to make us all miserable. Not gonna happen. Ever since we landed, he's been mean and irritable pretty much all the time and I'm sick of it.

At EPCOT, he was fine as long as things were going his way, but once we got to World Showcase, he was getting very nasty and mean. We told him he was getting a time out when we got back home and he didn't like this so he gets even meaner. We just ignored him.

As soon as we exited the park, he was fine. We were going back home and that's what he wanted. He told us he was happy now and didn't need a time out. I could see it in Buzz's eyes that he felt sorry for him. I insisted we give him a time out. I wasn't going to spend the next 2 weeks putting up with this behavior. Sometimes it's hard to know what is disability and what's just being plain ornery. I felt this was ornery and we needed to set a precedent.

So we get back and he's frantic, telling us he wants to go swimming. I kept saying, "No, you get a time out and no swimming." He starts crying and says if he has to stay, so does LeeAndra, Daddy and Mommy. Uh, no. LA and Dad are going swimming. Mommy is staying with the crab. So those two get their suits on and head down and I make Trey go to his room and shut the door.

He's yelling and carrying for awhile, but I'm not caving. I tell him he can come out when he's ready to be calm and nice. Meanwhile, Buzz calls from the pool and tells me to not let him out until he's calm. :headache: Gee, ya think? I don't know how to discipline kids? :sad2: When Buzz gets after them, they just laugh at him. He's very funny when he's mad and yelling. We all get amusement out of it. :lmao: I usually go in the other room and laugh so he doesn't see me. Otherwise, he just gets madder and that makes me laugh harder.....

So, finally, Trey comes out and has his swimming suit in his hand. His little face is all sad and I caved. Couldn't take it. So I sit him down and have a very serious talk with him about his behavior. I felt it helped. Time will tell. So we put our suits on and headed down to join the others.

The pool was awesome! It has a waterfall that's a volcano that Trey kept trying to climb up. It had 3 tube slides which I personally don't like. I hate that closed in feeling. One time when I was pregnant with LA, I was a bridesmaid in a wedding. I was trying on my dress that fit 2 weeks earlier and I totally got stuck in it. I couldn't get it unzipped and I was home alone. I ended up having to cut myself out of it and being trapped like that gave me a little claustrophobia. So no tube slides for me.

I have to give Cypress credit-they have tons of recreation. This place had a volleyball net so you could play volleyball in the pool, it had employees doing t-shirt tie dying with the kids, it had swing sets, you name it had it. It was awesome!! We just used the pool.

The pool was very chilly, but once you got used to it, it was very refreshing. The only drawback was the massive swarms of love bugs everywhere. Buzz and I couldn't figure out what they were. We thought they were 2 headed-8 legged mutant bugs of some kind. We've never seen them before.

And with that, I'm off to the grocery store and I'll let Buzz take it from here.

PS-We're actually not that mean of parents (regarding Moan Boy & the Tigger). We asked him if he wanted it and he didn't. He got a Donald later in the trip that he just loves. :goodvibes

And I did not take a whole box of Immodium. I took 2 tablets. And 2 prescriptions pills. And starved myself for awhile...

Here we go... finally photobucket cooperates. Blame MDF for this...

Geez, what a coincidence. I tell my egg story and Buzz posts that nasty picture. Don't do that anymore. That's gross. How funny that while I'm working on that-everyone is talking about eggs. :confused3

I'd like to do Survivor too, but I don't think I'd make it long. Especially when they bring out some crazy food like last Thursday. I can't even eat fruit without gagging. There's no way I'd be able to get anything like that down. Plus, it's been in the heat and has all those flies on it. Yuck.

I can see Buzz's hard at work. As usual. I'm working my tail off at home, getting this TR moving. :drive:

Does this mean that you don't stay at the parks after dark?

That is a lot. What size were they? Medium size here are usually like 69 cents. But it goes way up if we get large.

Broke 'em all! :rotfl2: Buzz couldn't believe it! I was laughing so hard...:rotfl2:
:headache:

This is one of the hardest things to do with any child. Telling them they will get a time-out (or in the corner in our home) when they get home but then following through with it. I try to always follow through and sometimes a calmed down kid gets all upset again. But if we never follow through, they'll figure that out.

Meanwhile, Buzz calls from the pool and tells me to not let him out until he's calm. :headache: Gee, ya think? I don't know how to discipline kids? :sad2:
I'd be like "whatEVER"!

I definitely think the talk afterwards is a good thing! :thumbsup2

Who said you were mean? We only let our kids buy what they wanted to a specific limit. They each had gift cards up to $100 and when that was gone, it was GONE! Even if they picked out stupid things. We tried to guide them in their spending but had to teach them a lesson too.
