Princess is now being interpreted as any human, female Disney character. Of course the princes don't get any press at all. Discrimination running rampant at Disney! Where's the Bibbidy Bobbidy Beer Hall?

Hmmm? Your Ariel was a lil' "not". She fit the gown, I guess? Bless her heart.

We also had Princess Alice and Princess Mary Poppins... Good Times.

Ohhhhh, I like the KJOTTKAKKER...it's funky yet good. No, I don't want to know what kind of mystery meat(s) are involved in that.

Hey, my kids have the same looks on their faces as your son after returning to the table after accompanying me in my "office" :guilty:

I think there should be a villains character meal...yes?

How could you possibly say he doesn't qualify....

I'm thinking that the facial hair give him away... although I've seen pictures of ladies with just as much... :scared:

Anyway, I think LtP deserves a break and we'd like to hear stories about how Buzz would entertain the kids for a weekend... :scared1:

OMG!! What a GREAT idea. I would be SOOO there every time. They would have to have the Mean Brother Lion (Scar) there though. He's my favorite.

Wow UM, you impress me. You're like an Imagineer only from Utah. Utagineer!

Having been back for 3 weeks now, are you ready to head back or are you still in the 'I'm ready/glad to be home' post-vacation phase? We've been back 5 days and are ready to go back... We've discovered that real life is a lot less fun than vacation life.

I have been patiently waiting to hear a review of OKW. I am thinking about going next year the first week in October (but I will admit I am a little afraid of staying there if that is the same time Buzz is going!). Well at least he is home before dark. Did you like OKW? Have you stayed at any other DVC resorts? How did it compare? Also for Amy, did you just get back from the AKV? How was standard view? Did you miss the Savannah?

Sorry to interrupt this trip report, but I might miss the seven month booking window in March for OKW if I wait for Buzz to get to the second week.

I promise to review OKW by February at the latest. :thumbsup2

Your in luck, I'm booking SSR at 11 month window then trying for VWL at the 7 month. You're safe!

Amy, Yes, I am ready to go back. We have so much fun when we're there.

Cool. Thanks. BTW have you ever stayed at VWL before? I swam at the pool once. (If that counts for anything.) Did you know they have a kids club there? You could use that for your nights out with LtP.

I'm not ready yet!

Buzz travels all over the place and I just stay home. I'm really a home body at heart, but a trip with the girls would be awesome! My kids would fall apart, but I wouldn't be there so who cares! :yay:

I got in trouble yesterday or was it Monday? Buzz let me know I posted my swimming/time out installment too soon. I was thinking, "What did we do that afternoon at Epcot?" I knew I was forgetting something, but then I remembered it after I made my post. Oops. That's what Buzz gets for being soooo slow. He drives that way too-like an old man. It took us 25 mins to get to church which was actually 10 mins away from our house.

One of our neighbors hollered at him one day and flipped him the bird b/c the poor guy got stuck behind him on the way home. Buzz tracked the guy down (took him 2 days) and asked him why he did that. The guy actually came over and apologized to me too. I told him, "No worries, when I get stuck behind Buzz, I yell and scream at him too!"

Slow as a turrrrrrrrtle at times..... :sad2:

We didn't miss the savannah view at all. We had a great pool view, which we liked. Although the rooms didn't have as much space as the OKW rooms do, we liked the theming a TON. The rooms are very well laid out, too. Even though they're about the same size as the BCV, WLV and BWV rooms, they feel much bigger as they don't have doors and walls everywhere. Overall, we were plesantly surprised and the loss of location (Epcot is where we spend a lot of time) didn't bother us at all. We loved the room and are staying there next October.

A few pix - they're not great, but they're something! They're 'lived in' pictures so disregard all of our crap everywhere.

We stayed there and liked it, but think that Preferred View points are a bit excessive for what you get. You get boat service to the MK (a boat that makes like 3 stops before you get there) and not much else (compared to the other resorts that charge preferred points). We love the place, but don't have enough points to justify staying there.

It's prudent to drive a safe & resonable speed at all times. ::yes::

Amy, yes I've stayed there. At the Lodge, not the Villas. MB needs a private sitter due to his handicap.

In fact, the last time I stayed at WL was with my sister.

LtP don't like it when I go to WDW without her but it's always for business... what am I going to do? :rolleyes1

We love OKW it is our home resort and have been staying there since 1995. We have not stayed in the Grand Villa, but have stayed in the studio, one bedroom and two bedroom. The rooms are much larger than other DVC's and it has a separate laundry room in the 1/2 bedroom. Lots of action at the main pool - and the quiet pools are just that, quiet. As for eating - plan on going somewhere else - Goods to Go - is not so good - and Olivia's is a bit pricey for everyday. Good bus service. If you have children - try and stay around the main pool area - - something is going on there all the time. Plus tennis courts, ping pong - game rooms - activity room - exercise room, etc.

Jo and I are true LIMEYS!!:rotfl2: :thumbsup2

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I like limes! They go good in Corona. Oops, I mean they go gud in Corona.

Oh please Buzz. You don't drive at a reasonable speed. :sad2: You're a geezer ebeneezer!!

Hedy-If you're old enough to have a job, you're old enough to not burn popcorn? There's a story about Buzz-he literally started a fire in our microwave when he tried to make popcorn a few years ago. We had to throw the microwave out and it was fairly new. He totally ruined it.

Uh, anyone notice, Goofster and Blue Riverine have both been absent lately??? Yeah, I think I got this mystery solved! :yay:

And no I don't like it when Buzz goes to WDW without me. It's highly annoying. Especially the year I was 8.5 months pregnant. :sad2:

Hey Linnie! Limes are much better in Margaritas! Buzz drives like a geezer? Didnt he post earlier that he drove a sports car? Or was he just trying to be cool? cool2: is he the one we`re honking at when we`re all late to work? :lmao:
Interesting note on the missing parties.:confused3
Sounds like you need a girls weekend away! Did you see the earlier posts? :cool1: It would not include me (unfortuntly) at 3.03 a gallon for gas I can barley afford to drive down the street! nevermind WDW! :lmao:
