This is true. I sit idle while he cranks the crap out of teacup. The kids try to help, but eventually give up and let Buz take control. He cranks and cranks and my pony tail is flying straight out from my head, turning into quite the weapon to those around me (my children). Getting hit in the face with flying hair stings. The movies make hair flying around look all glamorous- like women driving in a convertible with their hair gracefully flying around their faces. That is not the reality. Flying hair = pain. It’s like getting whipped in the face with a tiny, well, whip.

I wish there were a Hobby Lobby around here. They even closed the closest JoAnn's.

And I SOOO hear you on the flying hair. A little story (sorry for the hijack):

When I was 12, our family took a road trip from Long Island to WDW. We took 2 weeks, 4 days for driving to go down, 4 days at WDW, 4 days with family in FL, 2 days to drive back. Back then, my two younger sisters and I had our hair either in ponytails or pigtails EVERY DAY....if t was an active day, the tails got braided....my mother, BTW, used those old hair tie with the two loops and BALLS!! On the way down, we went to Busch gardens. When we rode the scrambler, I got stuck with both of my little sisters and their nearly-waist-length pigtails. I got whipped so hard with their hair, I got two very black eyes. My parents got dirty looks from EVERYONE for the entire rest of our trip, and I got special treats all over WDW. Needless to say, it was both an interesting trip, and the LAST TIME I ever rode a spinning ride with either sister having braids.

Well, one time he did wake up under my grand piano. I didn't like that. At all. He got severely scolded. I don't let the kids near it and I certainly don't want some drunk lurching around near it. I spent a lot of money on it!

DM- Dumkopf means dummy. Don't tell Buzz I called him that. He'd probably be ok with me calling him a drunk, but dummy? I don't think he'd take to kindly to that.

I bought LeeAndra and I some of those pony tail holders with the balls on the ends of them in WDW only the balls are Mickey heads. Until I was about 22, I could never figure out how to work those pony tail holders. I know, I know, Ip dip!! Not the sharpest crayon in the box. NOw that I know how to use them, LA gets them in her hair all the time.

Hold one ball. Wrap the elastic around the ponytail until tight. hook the loop with the other ball over the first ball. tighten ponytail. That's it.

my daughter having alopecia makes it easy to get ready in the morning. No hair to brush, no stupid ponytail holders to tie. Shower at night, throw clothes and hat with ponytail attached to it on, and out the door.

I haven't slept under a pool table since 1987 at a Disneyland Cast Member Party........that's the same night I was hiding everyone's shoes in the freezer.
