Packing to go back home is the worst part of any Disney trip - and this time was especially difficult for me. I had just had the best week of my life with my Pally, and now it was almost over.

Because I have OCD tendencies, packing really wasn't that time-consuming, since most things were at least where they were supposed to be, so once finished, I tuned into the resort chanel and started conspiring for my next trip
Our last day was, of course, spent in the MK. We got up fairly early, stored our bags and headed over to the park. Pal knew we were going home that day, but in true 4-year-old fashion, refused to let the thought enter her mind and she attacked Fantasyland as if it were her first time there. Tea cups, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White and Philharmagic took up a majority of our time. We headed over to Tomorrowland and did a few laps on the speedway, rode the TTA coaster and visited Buzz one last time. Goofy coaster was next, and this time we only had to go around 3 times
The wonderful thing about touring this time of year is that we got all of this done and still had several hours until it was time to leave for the airport. We grabbed lunch and then just walked around taking in the sites. We rode Haunted Mansion and saw the Tikki birds perform. I did the necessary and glanced at my watch. Pal - time for one more ride - what will it be? THE PIRATE RIDE MOM! So off we go to POTC. Loved it as usual and started to head toward the entrance. Pal figured out we were leaving and said "But Mom, I thought you said we could ride the pirate ride one more time" - UH OH - you guessed it - she meant the PETER PAN pirate ride
How could I do this? I have ruined the perfect trip by picking the wrong last ride - AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
What to do? What to do? Well, I could do what I REALLY wanted to do and head for Peter and friends and miss our plane, or I could be the responsible adult that I had somehow morphed into and bribe the kid with candy all the way out of the park. How Pally didn't end up with a mouth full of cavities is beyond me
The flight home was bittersweet - we spent the trip talking about all of the fun things we had done and how neither one of us could wait to go back someday. I promised that it wouldn't be too long!
So, you have now journeyed with me on the best week of my life and now understand why I am a complete Disney addict - how could I not be after all of this?
Thank you for joining me and allowing me to share my story - and I hope that all of you parents out there will one day consider doing a solo trip with your own kiddos some day - it is truly magical!
