Have you every tried a waterproof eye primer before you put on your eyeliner? Benefit makes one called Stay Don't Stray that is specifically for underneath your eyes and Laura Geller has a nice one as well. There are a lot of primer's out there, just make sure you buy one labeled "waterproof."

I used the benefit one and it was really not worth it. I like the smashbox primer.

Maybelline has a new eyeliner called Eye Studio Master Drama. It is the ONLY thing that has worked for me. I wore it today to work and it is still on, 13 hours later!

Every other liner I've tried has disappeared after a few hours.

Looking for suggestions on a pencil eyeliner that doesn't smudge and hopefully waterproof?

I have bought MAC, Urban Decay 24/7, and of course the store brands such as Maybelline, Revlon, Loreal and 2-3 hrs after applying it on the bottom of my eyelashes I look like a racoon.

This was my problem as well and at first the Monistat primer didn't work for me but I realized that if I don't wear a lot of under eye concealer I have no problem with smudging. There's a significant difference when I don't put primer under my eyes than when I do. I use MAC Powerpoint.

I just *liked* it. I didn't want to not get it. I had to have it. I liked it too much. I couldn't put my finger on what it smelled like, but it smelled like something. I still can't nail it.

I got a Kiss Kiss too, but I don't know what color it is. I don't have it on me, tonight. I'll have to check that. It's pretty though. So nice.

Have you tried the new Bare Essentials eye shadow in a pan rather than loose? I am thinking about getting because as you know I have so few eye shadows I am looking for the ultimate blendable shadow.

Again, I need to mention Butter London nail polish it is buy 2 get one free at Ulta this week and there is a 5.00 coupon so it makes it a little less painful to purchase but really it is the BEST polish I have every used.

I know I said I did not like Butter but I was too hasty. I retracted my statement earlier. I put it on and it looked good dried quickly but it was just like any other polish but then I realized.....it was 4 days before I needed a touch up and it lasted almost a week!

I am trying not to buy the BE eyeshadow but I am going to ULTA to day for the the Butter buy 2 get one free and I have a 5.00 coupon so I cannot resist. I think the Butter top coat is also really good also.

Ooops, the color isn't Hello it's Truth (which was the browns). I don't know why I was thinking Hello. But yes it is BE. I had no issues blending them. They applied easily and smoothly.. I used my BE brushes not the little swabs that come with it. I'm really liking it.

Also, I bought it Thursday and if you spent $40 you got a free BE gift. It was a little bag with 3 items in it. I'll have to look and see what items I got. There were 2 choices.

So I have a question in reference to perfumes and colognes.

I just bought myself FLORA (perfume) by GUCCI and I asked the lady at the counter how does she suggest I keep this from ever going flat …. (I bought the 2.5oz size as it was a great deal).

Her suggestion was to "keep it in the refrigerator in the vegetable bin".

So what do you all do with you perfumes and colognes???

I use my perfumes too quickly, for them to go bad. I put them on before bed, even. Start wasting your perfume, like I do, and this won't be an issue.

I would imagine a fridge would be too humid ????

Your right, CR, I should start wasting them! I have so many I love I am so afraid they will go bad before they are all used up!!!!

Oh, I was shopping at the Carlsbad Outlets and stopped into 'Designer Fragrances'! I asked the sales clerk what the TOP selling fragrance was right now and she said without a doubt FLORA!!! So I smelled it and loved it!!!!

I wanted to tell you guys this, but it's so damn long to type out - but here a goes:

So, apparently LipFusion and all the Fusion Beauty brands are either being discontinued (in which case I'd probably need to go to a mental hospital and be put on stablizers) OR just not being carried by Sephora, any longer.

BUT, I didn't catch wind of this until most everything, well everything, was out of stock, online. It was being sold at 75% off.

I immediately went to Sephora. I happened to go to the Penney's Sephora. And there was a whole display, filled to the brim with oodles of lip glosses and gobs of primer. Score! BUT - it was 50%. No big deal.... I thought.... Penney's price matches, anyways - and this was their own stinking price.

Long story short - they would NOT budge and would NOT sell it at 75% off. Oh, it's true they price match, but not their own internet price. Huh? I even tell her, I cannot believe she is going to let a $200 purchase walk out the door. The manager tells me all sorts of asinine reasons. Fine. I get her name, and I tell them I'm calling corporate, and I'll be back tommorrow.... and be paying 75%. (So cocky, I am....)

And I did. I talked to corporate, argued with them until my tounge was dry, and got approval for the items to be sold at 75% in store. I go back to another Sephora.

AND THERE IS NO FUSION BEAUTY AT ALL. I asked "Where is all the Fusion stuff???" They got an e-mail that afternoon, just about when I ended my arguing, to pull everything off the shelves - all stores. WHAT!?!? Did I cause this???

THANK GOD, I'm friendly with my local Sephora girls. She went in the back, pulled me out everything I wanted, and away I left....$177 poorer, but stocked with Fusion products. **phew**

AND because they had pulled it all - she couldn't do the 75% off. Grrrrr....

I'm amazed whenever Sephora has any discount codes. Not many department stores have sales on brands like that.

So the code will only be good for one purchase from one account? I'm ok with that, I have my cart loaded up right now with stuff. Some stuff is for Christmas presents for friends and other stuff is for me

Anyone heard when it's due to come out?

THE BRUSHES ARE HERE!!! THE BRUSHES ARE HERE!!!(I'm from MA so everthing we do needs to have a patriotic flourish LOL)


Costco has their brush set in . It is no longer under the Borghase(sp) name but under Kirkland. This is the once a year brush set I get every year without fail. I cannot tell if they are synthetic but they look and feel like like genuine hair to me. There are 10 brushes: all over eye, foundation concealer, eye crease, contour Kabuki, Cheek, angled eye, highlighting, liner(push), Powder, Finishing. they come with a really nice synthetic brush roll which would be great for travel because at the bottom there is a nice pouch to keep your make up(well I mean this is good for normal people not people like CR , and myself) The price is only 25.00! They are really soft and work well. Probably made in the same factory as MAC for a fraction of the price. Check out product demo on line go to Costco.com and put 576717 in search box.

I suggest that if you want them get them early. You would pay 24.99 for the cheek brush alone on sale if you got it in the Sephora or ULTA brand and these are better than that.

Also I read earlier in the thread that Sephora is only doing the F&F once a year? WHAAAT well if that is the case I need to get my GC's from Discover soon b/c I am sure it will be in time for the holidays.

REMEMBER if you have money in your Discover card account buy the GC and then use it on the F&F and you save double it comes to a savings of 30% AND the fact that it is cash back money makes it even less.
