I finally signed up on makeup alley so I could read reviews and most of them were good. It is not supposed to be sticky, so that sounds like a win to me. If you get it, post back if you do/don't like it. I'm looking at trying one also. Now what color.....

I will definitely post back if I get out to the mall today.

also had anyone heard this that the ULTA make up is made by mac?

I never heard that but that may explain why I love their eyeshadow so much. I wear "Cameo" on my eyelids all the time. Actually, I really like all the makeup I've bought from them. I'm still mad that the smoothing foundation they had was discontinued. :headache:

Oh, I have Dolly too! It's the only thing from BE I can wear that doesn't break me out.

 OK, I'm glad I'm not the only one hunting for a lip gloss that is essentually the same color that I have at home. I just love the texture of the Plushglass, I can't stop looking. :thumbsup2

Thread newbie here:) - not really a big makeup wearer but _am_ a big moisturizer wearer. Sooooo, 2 things I was wondering if you guys know about:

- you know that face/eye GEL that Clinique sells and was used as part of there 'giveaway' 6 or months ago? (I do buy Clinique stuff now and then..) Is the anything out there that is similar but not so expensive? I:love: it but am about out and cant bring myself to spend that much for it. It is so light and non-greasy, but really feels good. (doesnt clog my poor pores like so many do.):cloud9:

- In this modern world of magical firming lotions and exercises is there any thing that REALLY works for turkey neck? gobble gobble....

Thanks!!!
nk
I use Bliss Thinny Chin or something like that...it is okay I think honestly it is just fast drying white glue that takes out some of the crepeiness. If you find a solution that does not involve a knife I would love to try it!:rotfl:

Have you tried the Philosophy When Hope is Not Enough Neck Cream? I remember they had it on a QVC show a couple of weeks ago, because I was thinking it sounded really nice. QVC's reviews are only giving it 3 1/2 stars, but still may be worth trying.

HMMM....I did not know they have a neck cream. I use the WHINE Advanced eye and face creams. I will definately try the neck cream It is funny Nordstroms is so hel bent on getting customers that they sent me a hand written thank you note because I bought the eye cream a few weeks ago. I wonder what they would do if I went back and got the neck cream:rotfl:

I keep waiting for someone to have a sale I wish Sephora would do a per cent off again....I have so many more things to get. I am hoping MAC has a sale too. I would LOVE to get 25 per cent off because a 50 gift card wouild not go far if I go to the store and I know I would spend most likely double that and I am trying not to!

Thanks - I'll have to go read some of the reviews.:thumbsup2

I stumbled upon this thread a few weeks ago and as a result went to Sephoria for the first time. I didn't have a very good experience there, but still bought Stila hydrating primer, Nars O in the stick form, and Too Faced Lash Injection. I have mature skin, i.e. dry with some fine lines, and some not so fine, and had hoped to be able to buy a foundation to even out my skin tone (very light skin); however I tried two different brands and two different sales people and neither worked for me. Any suggestions? Also, I've been using the Nars stick as a blush with my fingers but would like to buy a brush. What kind should I buy?

Hi! I've been really good on my except-for-foundation no-buy  but after trying various samples (btw...lorac = :crazy2: ), I bought some foundation tonight. My favorite samples were a tie between Estee Lauder Futurist and Lancome ReEnergie. Lancome had a free gift, so Lancome it is. It was insanely expensive for me (I have a $30 limit on a single item of makeup, this was $40 :scared: ) But the coverage was beautiful and the color was spot on. It is so nice to have someone help you find your match! My skin looks glowy and dewy with it.

For my free gift I got a free eyeshadow quad with colors I'd actually use, a lipstick which is kind of brown, but when I paired it with my Dolly lipgloss, looks really nice, some eye makeup remover (always nice to have around), some moisturizer, and a mini mascara. The mascara is "Hypnose". I'll have to check the reviews of that one. So I did get quite a bit for $40.

But that is it for me until Florida :beach:. Unless I get a F&F code for MAC :rolleyes1

Does anyone have any waterproof make-up recommendations? I'm really looking to slim down my make-up bag this trip. It's crazy because my luggage is always weighed down with beauty items, DB is getting sick of all the make-up "non-sense" as he'd like to call it. I just can't leave home without everything! So, any make-up recommendations would be fabulous!

So, I went to Macy's today to pick up some MAC stuff and they were doing a big beauty day and anyone that made a purchase was able to enter a drawing for a gift basket and I WON! :cool1: I never win anything, but I did today and what a basket of stuff it was. There was over $300 worth of skin care, makeup and fragrances in it. For DH, there was a full size bottle of "I Am King" by Sean Jean that normally sells for almost $80. There was also from MAC a thing of their makeup remover wipes, a Tri-Colour Lip Glass in Triple Yum, Bronzing Power compact and a cream eye shadow. There was also a Lancome bronzer. I've never used bronzer so this will be something new for me to try. I also got a full size body lotion from Clarins. Never used anything from that brand, so it will be interesting to see if I like it.

Oh, I was so excited about my gift basket that I almost forgot what I actually purchased today. I'm going to try the Dazzle Lash mascara and I picked up a Plushglass lip gloss in Full For You. It is a nice lip color pink with a little shimmer. It reminds of the Buxom stuff, with maybe a little more sting. I was going to try a Tinted Lipglass too, but ended up only getting the Plush one for now. Maybe just as well since I got to new lipsticks in my prize and the other MAC lipgloss. :goodvibes

Good for you! That must have made your day. For me the closest Macy's that sells MAC is 45 minutes away. I looked at the Full For You color, it looks pretty. puckerup: Does it smell like Play-doh like Posh It Up does? Let me know how you like it.

Goofy - congrats on your win! The only thing I've ever won so far were football game tickets :sad2:. What do I want with those??!! :rotfl:

Can't wait to hear how you like all your new products. Congrats again, that is really awesome! :thumbsup2

It really did make my day. My DD was so cute when she heard I had won. You would have thought I had won a trip to WDW she was so excited.

You know I was trying to decide what the stuff smelled like and now that I've used it I would have to say you are kind of right. It does smell similar to Play Doh, but on the berry scented ones. It isn't really an unpleasant smell, but it is different.

So far I think I am liking both the Plushglass and the Tricolor Lipglass. Neither are too sticky, have some staying power since they don't seem to wear off as fast as some lipglosses and have just the right amount of color. Time will tell if I want to buy more of the Plushglass or if I want to go back to Buxom.

Also, the Dazzle Lash mascara is okay, nothing too special, but okay. What I like the best about it is that it does color my lashes, and doesn't make them as hard and stiff as a lot of mascaras seem to do. I did not get the length that I was hoping for and really no more thickness (which isn't what it is intended to be for, so I'm okay with that). So the hunt for a favorite mascara is on still, but that's okay. I didn't expect to fall in love with the first one or two tried. :goodvibes

I got an email from bobbibrown. They are having a sale, 25% off everything with summer1 code. It's good from June 8-11. Free shipping if you spend over $60.

And I saw on MUA that MAC is having a code next week for 20% off F&F sale. Happy Shopping! princess:

Must... Be... Good. :headache:

MPA THANKS!! Can you post the MAC code when you find it. I can never find anything on MUA. (like I havn't said that before) My DH does NOT thank youLOL. BTW I got a prescriptivives kit with a 4 eyeshadow, nice brush, mascara and liner pencil at the outlet store for 38. I wish I had waited and done Bobbi Brown. I think the code for Mac is this week. I thought I saw the 11th but then as I said earlier, Idid not know if it was old e mail because there was no year. I signed up for Mac e mail but as yet have not gotten even a confirmation.

Saturday I went to Sephora. I picked up the Imju Fiberwig mascara. I love it. It can be layered.

While I was there I also wanted to buy Smashbox gel eyeliner and they were all out. So the cashier gave me a free shipping code so I could buy it online. However, my mall has TWO Sephora's in it (I know, lucky me). The main one and another one in JC Penny. So I went and got the eyeliner at the JC Penny Sephora.

I do not need the free shipping code. She said it is good for a week, which means till this Saturday.

I do not know if it can be used more than once??

If anyone wants it, PM me. First come, first served. I will give it to the first person that PMs me....but then once they've used it (please let me know you used it) I will give it to anyone else that wants to try it and see if it it will work again. If it does work more than once, then we can post the code here. :)

Your welcome (and to your dh, "I'm sorry") I've got a shopping bag full of goodies myself. But I am still trying to be good. for my trip. I must say, I really want to reward myself because today...

:cheer2: I got a job offer! :cheer2:

I tried that mascara. It does NOT flake off or make "panda eyes". I liked it, but like Too Faced better, so I returned it.

I also have Too Faced; both regular and pinpoint and of those two I like pinpoint better but I feel they both tend to clump and it's difficult to layer and that is why I decided to buy the fiberwig. So far I am loving it.

But to be completely honest of all my mascaras, and I have a lot of mascaras, my favorite is still Loreal Double Extends mascara.
