We did a NCL cruise in June that included Greece and Turkey - so thankful to get to see those areas. Weren't they intriguing?



Would you believe that on that 12-night NCL with you guys, we only saw entertainment one night? That "read up on the next day's port" took priority each night. Right now I am trying to figure out pre-cruise for WBTA... and am intrigued with Prague - Vienna - Salzburg (or Budapest). Hoping to incorporate some mission work for a couple days in Prague if we do go that route.



Ditto everyone who shared about looking at other cruise lines. DCL was out of our budget (and timeframe) for Greece/Turkey but I think we were able to book NCL for the four of us for less than half the DCL cost. For as little as we were on the ship, we had zero regrets doing that.

Why hang around when you find Mr Right

On a port intensive cruise, our typical routine is:

• Wake up early,
• Grab a quick breakfast at the buffet,
• Go off the ship for a long day in port,
• Return to the ship in the late afternoon or early evening,
• Have dinner,
• Maybe see some entertainment,
• Return to the cabin to read up on the next day's port.

Rinse and repeat.

Sounds like quite a tiring but very enjoyable routine. A port intensive Med cruise is still on my wish list, and we are happy to try other cruise lines too when the opportunity arises.
