Wow, it is too quiet here - everyone, cept me, must be cruising!!!

Yeah, really. We went on vacation for 2 1/2 weeks and came back to only about 3 pages!
This year was a more local vacation, we did a road trip through the Southwest. Las Vegas was 119degrees when we were there!
Then through Indian Country of Arizona and New Mexico and looped back home through Vegas again. In all that heat, no sunburns, I am very proud of myself.

Just back home yesterday that we went to Venice for 2 nights (still not enough times) then went on Splendour of the Seas with PDT (deaf group) of 285. From Australia, Canada, USA, Ireland and us... We had a lovely times with them. We had so much fun with Ireland as they were sitting with us for meals every night.

Weather was HOT... worst at Athen as it was very hot. Greece - We hired a car and drove around at Corfu and we liked it and didn't think much of Turkey. We went to Santorini as it was so beautiful as I think it is my favourite..

Kids said they prefer Disney Magic mmm Nothing wrong with Splendour of the seas as it seem smaller than Magic but very nice. Foods was okay and not good for kids as they liked hot dog, pizza but nothing same as Magic.

They enjoyed Teens club.

Oh well roll over to Magic Disney next Sept

Glad you all had a great time, I am struggling to convince Mary to give other cruise lines a chance, we may end up doing separate holidays at some point in he future as I want to do Cunard and Celebrity. We hold Corfu as a special place for us, as we met in a nightclub there in 1990, only to get engaged some 6 weeks later.

Dennis and I met when we were both cast in a show at the community theater in Spring, 2000. We got engaged Christmas 2008 (I think - might've been '07). Got married October 2009. Let's just say he got badly burned first time out.

What a fantastic holiday that was, we've been back a couple of times for the day to that town in Corfu to reminisce, but it's not the same in daylight when you're sober

I'm going to say this in print and in public so you can hold me to it after the port intensive med cruise we just did and the astronomical prices DCL want to charge for a Greek/Venetian cruise, maybe it is time to try another reputable company in the med. We were so tired last time, we couldn't appreciate it was DCL and would've been as well being celebrity.

In saying that, and I'm sure everyone would concur, it's DCL all the way for the long repo cruises

We met at friend's 30th Birthday party then 18 months later, he took me to the hotel and made the arrangement date for our wedding 1st Oct 1994. He didn't ask me Will you marry me!! He told me to pick the date!! Anyway, it was best wedding ever lol..

Poor Dennis, I've got a friend who has 4 kids to his partner, but is afraid to marry her as he had such a horrible first wife, what more commitment can you get than 4 kids under 6 yikes !!!
