been on the side lines medical issues not fun,
surgery upcoming soon just not sure when, so this cruise is my party time when fully recouped,
so myself and son are ready, looking for airfare to line up and also maybe a few days of travel before he gets there, so always looking for inside scoop,

We were just in Wisconsin last week on vacation Did a road trip from Minneapolis to Milwaukee with four nights along the way. We are trying to take our children to all 50 states before they turn 18, so that was two new states or them.

That is so funny. If you drove that route you drove right past us. We are half way between Madison and Milwaukee.

We did! We stopped at the zoo in Madison before heading directly to MKE. Siri on the iphone had us take the alternate interstate versus main interstate, so we saw lots of beautiful farmland. Last time we were there was 2005 for a concert at Alpine Valley and some time up during the Oshkosh airshow. That was pre-kids...

Well now we can talk about all the good things, like shave ice, manapua, ahi limu poke, portuguese sausage, Zippy's chili, and malasadas! Are you from O'ahu? I am born and raised, too. Went to undergrad and did my internship in CA, but I'll never leave again! I'll bring you some stuff from home if you want!

I know what you mean! It took me almost a whole week to catch up on 184 pages, and now there's barely anything. I hope everyone is cruising though. If I can't be on one of the ships, I'd like to think my friends are.

Still lurking and reading the thread but so much going on I can't put any thoughts into this cruise til next year.
Just had my busiest 10 weeks ever in my business, go on vacation next Thursday for 24 nights then leave our Son at the University of New Hampshire to study for a year, arranging a BBQ for over 30 people in our garden this weekend, trying to plan more vacations for October & May plus post in and moderate the UK trip planning forum. Doesn't leave a lot of time to think about a cruise over a year away unfortunately.

Super quiet here and even on the FB page!! Guess most people are either busy planning their vacation, on vacation, or recuperating from their vacation!!!

As someone else mentioned life is a little busy to put 100% into a cruise that's well over a year away, give it 6-8 months and the pages will whizz by!

Never been any further north than NYC so it will be a whole new area to explore for us, spending 7 nights there in August(staying in Dover) when we drop Matt off at UNH then back for another 9 nights in October. Karen has made a list of places she wants to visit.
