i'm excited about going on my first disney cruise! I've been on other cruises and avoided disney cruises because i thought there would be too many little ones to distract me (or make me wish my grandkids would be with me). But, this cruise is turning out to be highly anticipated as 5 wdw friends i met thru wdw celebrations activities will be sailing together on this cruise. Yay!
We plan to start at disneyland euro prior to catching up with the magic in barcelona.
Any tips on transportation from paris and/or travel insurance recommendations?

I found it in my FE lists for 2011. (Because I delete *nothing* on my computer!)

Welcome to all the people joining us over the past few days!
Gus and I plan on doing the same thing before this cruise. We did 4 nights in Barcelona in 2010 and even though I spent a big chunk of my time at the hospital there, we still managed to see quite a bit.
We're hoping to get to Paris the Monday before and head to Barcelona on Friday so it would be nice to kind of compare notes about our findings a long the way.
Plus, any feedback Noel & John could give us after their trip in May would be great!!

Another Pinterest lover here....I too pin loads of naughty cupcakes!
Just had a look at that blog, YUM!!!!! Thanks for that, i'm now drooling.....
Can you figure out delivery to the UK too please.
Kahlua buttercream sounds to die for!!! Love the sugar idea on the margarita one's, what a great touch.....
Would you both mind PM'ing me too, sounds like we have the same interests.....
I'm Ginamarie....
..... My grandfather passed away at the beginning of the year, and we are making sure to keep her busy, since they spent the last 70 years together every single day. Grandpa loved to cruise, and so this is a good memory for her too.....
I know, we're a big group!
I'm Julie, most of my friends call me Jools.....
I was happily married for 30 years to Bill and we had over 20 holidays to Florida and Disney.Sadly Bill died 3 years ago, I felt my world had ended and certainly couldn't contemplate ever travelling again. I mean apart from the huge hole he had left in my life how could I travel solo after always having him there? Well I was wrong (as I often am) as I did the 2010 and 2011 WBTA as a solo traveller and am doing the same in 2014
I travel solo but the fantastic thing about the Disney cruises are the great friends you find both online and onboard

....I have now booked 4 cabins although I still don't know who is coming for sure ... just felt safer having cabins booked which we could cancel than being stuck nest year when they all decide for sure that they are coming......
Still not sure on the logistics of travelling with 9 other people but will soon find out![]()
We are Ron (49) and Marieke (DW 36).....
We have no kids but we love dogs, sadly we lost 2 dogs in the last seven months, but luckily we still have our 2 jr old Sussex Spaniel named Walt.....
Our first cruise was in September 2012, we fell in love and booked again onboard which leads to the October Magic DD first cruise after the dry-dock.....

We live in Lisse, The Netherlands (very close to the Keukenhof).
My wife has a job in childcare and I work as a Avionics Ground Engineer on a Boeing 737.

We have been in Disney Paris, Disney Tokio, Disneyland and Disney World. On the 13th of September 2002 we even got married under the Gazebo at the Yacht Club, so we are celebrating our 12th anniversery on the cruise.

Cool - you can report back on all the new changes!!!
Problem is none of us really know at this point what will or will not be in the cabins. One of the rumors of the extended dry dock is a complete overhaul of the cabins. New furniture? New bed? Just new linens? Virtual portholes?
We can discuss cabins based on past cruising history but we won't really know anything for sure until Fall.
That is true...no steamer trunk for storage. Wanna swap cabins? Lol!!!

Love that you staged the Sauza bottle there in the middle. Nice choice of tequila!

I had my own favorite Raspberry Buttercream recipe, which is as follows:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 pound powdered sugar
