Thanks looking forward to meeting everyone. We are aware of the late dining times. Hard Rock was the one place we could dine early last year. Which since it is the night before the cruise is a good thing for us so we can be well rested for the next day. I think I will go ahead and make a reservation for 7 just in case we need it.

Yes, I was going to do the Hard Rock this time for the first time, so not sure how it works - if we make our own reservations or not. I did PM the organizer who indicated that he was getting some push back from Hard Rock and I got the impression (at that time, a few weeks ago, that it wasn't confirmed yet).

Jendisney9 and I got the party started by meeting today for brunch! (I called it Palo Brunch Training. ) It was so fun to meet up with one of the group before we even leave town!

in 2011, the group had the reservation and we were given a room in the basement. We had a couple dedicated servers and a barman, and were able to order dinner down there (seperate checks, of course)

I am happy to say that I got all my FE gifts packaged up and tagged today. I have a few additional gift bags to make up, but for the most part, I'm done with those, postcards, and scrapbooking exchange packages!!

Time to start working on the wardrobe efficiencies this week! I feel like I'm the only one not packed!

Don't worry. The closest I've gotten to packing is that I've printed out my packing list I need to get on this! So many things have hit us this last 2 months that I'm way behind. I also feel like I'm getting lazier every cruise and not packing as soon.

Very cool!! We would love to meet you guys for sure! Our daughter turning 8 is in a dual language program at school and loves meeting all sorts of people, especially from other countries!

And yes - the WBTA 2011 was very low in child numbers. Fewer than EBTA 2013.

Looking forward to meet you all, my 3 kids go to english school at home. Of course the eldest ( Tommy and Bauti) have better english than Maxima ( little girl). I read you are traveling very soon! have a great journey and great vacations.

There are over 90 people participating in the RATA Challenge, and I was concerned about taking up space on Deck 4 for the other runners and walkers, so we are going to meet the last sea day on Deck 10 AFT. If for some reason you are unable to make it, I will deliver your medal to your room by the end of the cruise. I will be making the last batch of medals on August 23, so if you are still thinking about signing up, please send me your name, room number and distance.

Worst thing is I keep pointing out to my team that I'm only on this team for 2 more weeks then I'm off to Barcelona and come back to a new job! Its very distracting

Thinking about packing -- what are the guys in the group planning to wear on formal and semi formal nights? I am going with cocktail type dresses for formal nights and sort of garden party/wedding-ish for semi formal. We don't really know what to go for for John though -- he doesn't want to look out of place either over or under dressed. We have never cruised before so it is difficult to know where to pitch it! What are other men going with this trip?

I'll have a tuxedo for the formal nights, not sure about semi-formal yet.

This will be our 5th Disney cruise but first since the new suggestions for the dress code. I've always brought a suit for formal nights and dress shirt and tie for semi. However, after reading some other comments and hearing of the relaxed rules...I may skip the suit coat and save a couple of pounds in the suitcase this time around. Regardless, I don't think you need to worry about being over dressed or under, as I really don't think there is a right or wrong.
