If I was close to Galveston I would have tried to drive down. Instead I live vicariously through web cams and these boards!

We just got back as well. We went down and got some photos while the ship was docked then went and grabbed a bite to eat since they were still moored and didn't look to be moving right away. We came back just in time to hear the horn then headed over to Seawolf Park to get more pictures and video as she passed by and out into Galveston Bay! Ahhh the memories!

I bet you never thought you would see the Magic docked in Texas, did you? I hope it brought back many happy memories!!!

It was really cool, and it only took a few minutes to get to the terminal. What a great teaser for a disney cruise from Galveston! I know many many people would use it

One more thing I want to add--the cast members I spoke with were VERY upbeat, happy, and all around helpful. This was a stressful cruise, with people leaving (and you KNOW some had to be difficult!) and they were wonderful

I have to say we were in Galveston about a month ago and watched the ships leave from the ferry from Port Bolivar. DH and I looked at each other and said wouldn't it be great if that were the Magic! LOL a month later.


PS The Dolphins were playing around the ferry boat at the same time.
