The Magic cruises to Copenhagen, EB T/A, 5/15/15

We are glad you will be joining us aboard the Disney Magic on a 15-night transatlantic voyage.

As you may be aware, we continually monitor a variety of reports including those available from the United States and Canadian Coast Guard that pertain to the ports we visit and the routes we travel. Due to excessive amounts of large pieces of ice off the coast of St. John's, Newfoundland, we will be unable to make our scheduled call at this port. Likewise, because of the distance needed to sail around these conditions, we will be unable to call in Reykjavik, Iceland, as well.

Therefore, we have modified our itinerary by replacing our calls in St. John’s and Reykjavik with calls in Halifax, Canada and Stavanger, Norway. The revised itinerary is below:

We booked this cruise specifically to go to Iceland! This stinks. Notified too late to cancel. Maybe DCL will put Frozen activities on the cruise that are supposed to start on May 31st cruise.

Those were the only two ports where we had booked excursions, so I've got some planning to do now. At least we have a 24 hour layover in Reykjavik on the way back

Wanted to go to Iceland...but this is what it looked like not too far away from St. John's yesterday. I work mainly transatlantic flights, and it's been quite icy in that area lately!

Better safe than sorry!!! I am disappointed in not going to Iceland but am excited about the other Norwegian port!! See you all onboard. We fly out at 8:30 am tomorrow to spend a night at the Yacht Club at WDW and then head over to the port.

With Halifax earlier and Stavanger later - there are now 6 sea days in a row.

I have been to all of the original ports but not to Stavanger, so the change doesn't upset me.
