Ead79 - You asked me in my trip report about why I didn't want Earl of Sandwich. I didn't answer that cause I was afraid it wasn't in keeping with the trip report stuff.

So here's your answer. I just got tired of them. Partly. The other part is that last time we got them, we bought extras to eat during the week and put them in a cooler. The ice melted, and one of the sandwiches fell down in the water. We had them sitting on top of stuff in the cooler so they wouldn't get wet. The thought of that wet soggy bread that I tried to eat, has just kinda ruined the Earl for me for now. Not forever. But I can say I would much rather have Tangerine Cafe!

Blessings!

yeah well. We were a girls school until 1950 something. That's gotta count for something! And no matter how many championships the other teams have won - they still suck pondwater!

NOLES RULE!

Blessings!
Mark

connorsmom911 - you don't by any chance remember the Lawson family do you? Or Jennifer Dolan? They might have worked with you?

Mel: How is it possible that "Thanks for the squirrel"is not your tag???

GO Leafs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HaleyB ~ I saw that fake quote. About Maelstrom. I did. Nice one, Jerome Seinfeld.

Javamom ~ The shirts sound great. I'm in. Let me know how.

NO FAKE CROCS. Although tempting... because of the price... their material seems much harder than real Crocs. I'm afraid that would ruin the whole comfort thingie. Plus Crocs are treated with something to ward off foot odour. I don't know about the imitations. But... what do I know anyway?

Alliecats ~ Hot Snot! Welcome to the Maelstromers. I've heard of you somewhere, I think. Heh, heh. Gary's mine. I think. But stay and play.

Marky Mark. I love Riesling. If I did, in fact, spell it right. Riesling is one of those words. That cease all meaning and don't even look like words... when repeated too often.

I gotta run and find my friend's keys. She can't get into her house. We have a Covenant of the Keys, here.

Who wouldn't love pie and chips? It's pie. With chips. For free.

Back later.

P.S. Glad you're back Lillygator.

Mark - I never thought anything could turn me off of the Earl (which is one of the best values on property in my humble opinion) but soggy bread - yeck!

Have you ever tried their breakfast sandwiches??? Yummmmm :thumbsup2

And - Go Iowa - Gotta love the Hawkeyes!!

And - My current school UIU Peacocks (yes I am a 31yr-old MBA student - so I qualify for this guy  ). Come on everyone you can't tell me you haven't heard of the Peacocks????? :rotfl2: :lmao:

Good Googly Goo, Maelstromers!

I take the day off to actually get some work done so I can keep my job and I come back to 6 MORE PAGES!

Okay, since we're all throwin' out our ages, I'm 35. Yep, old enough to REMEMBER when Elvis died and when Star Wars came out. My brother had every single Star Wars collectable they ever made and I think it's really cool that it's come back around and now DS has a bunch of them. Brings back memories, I guess.

No, I never had a pet rock. But does a Chia Pet count? I think those may have been even freakier than a pet rock. Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia

Melonmom: It's nice to know I'm missed when I'm gone. :wave2:

Okay, Rhonda, you cannot join the Maelstromers Track Club cause we just don't want any size 2s makin us look bad. :teeth: But you go girl!

And Javamom: Those shirts sound AWESOME! I vote you post it here since this is the OH-ficial Maelstromers thread, after all. Where else, Baby???? Can't wait to see them. I know they'll look great cause YOU ROCK.

Okay, need to get back to work for a bit. I really have to work on my trip report tonight. This thread is just too addictive.

Maelstrom....

It's such a bright sunny day today here (Massachusetts). It might even get up to mid 60's by the end of the week! (finally)

I've had a song in my head all day...
(Mel Brooks anyone!?!)
"Springtime for Hitler and Germany...
Winter for Poland and France..."

"Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party!"

From tho Producers, of course we have heard of it. But do you know this one...

" When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps,
Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing.

And, always look on the bright side of life.
Always look on the right side of life."

Life of Brian. Love the MP.

Two of the best trip reports locked up, what a shame. But I'm glad you have this new thread, with it's new name. So we can have vettechick with all of her Hot Snots! and the witty replies of happyhaunt.

**I'm glad neither of you are letting the man keep you down. :teeth: Thanks for entertaining all of us!!!

OK, well, I can understand not lovin’ a soggy sandwich. I gotta give you that one. But when not soggy, I love me some Earl. I’ve never had Tangerine Café (gasp!), but if it’s as good as its cousin Restaurant Marrakesh, then I’ll bet it’s tasty.

is a fastpass...

Who'd a thunk it??? Just a pure intellectual GENIUS by the name of Zzub...I'd say Zzubbie but it's somewhat sick that I think that is a term of endearment only shared by the two of you...

Lala who cares about work...get to that TR now lady...and get to it hammer style...

Maelstromers, I want to wish you all a great week and better weekend! I'll be sure to think of you all when I'm reading printed trip reports, sippng my 5th pina colada, and eating boiled peanuts on the beach. :teeth:

I'm sooooooooooooooooo jealous!!! Have a great week!

Pie and chips?

What the heck are you guys talking about now?

I am so lost. That is ok. I get lost here a lot.

wow! I too have actually been working today, and yowza! this thread blew up - it's all stove up in here (did I use it right???)
NeverlandClub23 - I CANNOT wait until the Jovi stadium tour dates are announced...I saw a rumor that they're playing Giants Stadium on July 29th, but I am dying until the official announcement is made! IDK, though, about going across the river to Shea or Yankee stadium if they play there. Are you/have you going/gone to any shows on this tour?

Mel - they have Geico in Canada? No Combos, but that silly little lizard? What a world!

First, today, it was Alliecats with Gary in her TAG.

Now a pretty girl with Bon Jovi.

Man...

I'm gonna get someone gross in my tag.

I just know it.

I like soup. And... I think Keith Richards is hot.

I can see it now.

I went to the one a month or so ago in Washington D.C. (the night Heather Locklear filed for divorce!). It was AMAZING!!! The best concert I've ever been to. I like mostly 80's Bon Jovi, but their new stuff is good too

Mel-You would be soooooooo lucky to get Keith Richards. I love a man with ratty hair and that on-drugs-for-my-whole-life look. So hot!
