I'm back. And... all silliness aside, I was wondering: So ~ anyone else here thinking about ZZUB today? I am. 'Cause I'll bet all the ZZUBs went to church today. And I bet it was probably kinda hard. But, also, good. So I just want to remind him that they are still on our minds. Maelstrom!

Honestly, I have to say that I was thinking the same thing earlier today as I was sitting in church. I second that thought. Love ya ZZub. Mean it.

Oh, and I thought about Marky Mark in church too and wondered if he used the Maelstrom thing in his sermon today.

I ...like.... Mael-strom and I cannot lie....

Also... Heather Locklear is back! Heh, heh.

Okay, so am I officially Heather Locklear or are you talkin 'bout somebody else around here that actually may LOOK like her?

Cause if so, you're so gettin a Banana Man.

'Cause I'll go all Karate Kid on YOU! And, as you can clearly see, I'm a blackbelt !!!!!!

If you see him around the Dis, today is Li'l Grumpy's birthday. He mentioned it over on my trip report thread.

Soooooo....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LI'L G!!

:bday:

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for making me smile this evening. After 6 1/2 hours in a car by myself, I was missing my niece and feelin' kinda lonesome, but too tired to go out and be social.

So, here's a guy setting himself of fire just to say thanks! pixiedust:

Anyhow, this new High School Musical thing on Disney Channel, there is a few lines about "I like pi." as in 3.1427... blah blah blah. So, mai tai suggest that it might have come from there?

That gets my vote. My kids started watching Disney Channel again and that's when the phrase reaered it's ugly head 'round these parts.
I tried to pry more info from DS8 and he ain't talkin'

Can we go back to crocs for a sec?
There are differnt kinds? Does the original mafacturer have variations on a theme or is difference come from companies making their version just different enough to not get sued?

Okay, I give. How bout a rolling decapitated head instead....

But just got one question.....is that TWO Karate Kids in that picture? Big Karate Kid and Lil' Karate Kid maybe? Coulda swore....

Ok they watch a ton of DIsney Channel so maybe that is it. Plus my daughter got all bent out of shape because we missed that show one time. 8+ years in the central time zone and I still have not learned. WHY WHY WHY do they do that to us? 8pm for everybody else but 7pm for you losers in the ctz.

About the crocs, I don't have any. There is not an ugly stick big enough to shake at those things, IMHO. I might get some though, 'cause I guess they are pretty practical. So here is a link to the croc website, but I'll warn ya, they have a bunch of dancing balony (maybe I should call it dancing bananas here    ) on there, some dang flash thing that takes awhile to load even with high speed.

Sorry about the  I couldn't resist.

I can't remember to put the phone on the hook, to call the doctor, to print the thing you asked me to print, to drink the tea I made hours ago, or... Well... There was some other stuff I've forgotten recently, but the details are hazy... But I do remember the episode of Fairly Oddparents where Cosmo said this. I googled it for the canonical quote (anything you find on Google is canonical, right?):

Cosmo: "I heard shouting helps you remember things. I LIKE PIE!" (Poofs up a pie and shoves it in his mouth.)

Hey dear, glad to see you here. Do you want any dinner tonight? And people thought we were dorks for IM each other while in the same house. :rotfl: Oh and I think you might be on to something with the Cosmo thing. Max watches far too much TV.

Actually I have not written up the "Sea World, San Antonio Zoo, and Methodist Hospital ER, not exactly in that order" report yet. So I am the only one who knows why you are so fuzzy headed on here. I guess now I am going to have to work on it.

And MR.SILLY: I LOVELOVELOVE the quote in your signature. Plus... I heard that you got 'deleted' the other day. Too. Sooooooo... this is for you:

A quote from the unequalled Mr. George Bush "It's no exaggeration to say the undecideds could go one way or another." Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha... man!

Now THAT sticks in your head. Don't it?

Yes, they deleted my very kind and thoughtful post rather quickly, alas. I guess it's the kind of thing that can happen when you speak truth to power.

As for Dubya, I try not to misunderestimate his abilities to turn a phrase, I have been slowly building up a collection.

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." —Saginaw, Mich., 29 September 2000
"I refuse to be sucked into your hypnotheoretical arguments." —Indianapolis, Indiana, October 15, 2004
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —Washington, D.C., 5 August 2004

And the not very funny:
"If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." —CNN.com, December 18, 2000

I want some Dal and rice, but only a little. We still need to feed the wee ones. We are nerds. Max is obsessive compulsive about watching TV. He watched way way way too much. Maybe he gets the idea from watching us front of the computers?

Yeah, I think my version would be a little... odd... since I am on horrible meds that are keeping my brain from running at full speed. Plus since they eliminate short term memory, they might make my account a little less detailed.

Ok so you guys are not losing your minds...there are three dresses on that page. I picked the one with the blue on it....there are more pictures of that one than any of the other ones.

Lilly---DO what you wish , but I LOVE your report. But do what you feel is right. Plus..how bout them Gators??? I did a couple gator chomps tonight even though I am an UGA girl

who named ME melon mom?? I guess it was a self inflicted title eh? (sorry been to Minnesota ya know...)

I just thought I'd share a bit of my drunken behavior this weekend while out with my family...

I think I actually taught my daughters the word "wanker" on accident...

sorry if that is going to be XXX on this board but I've been deleted before...and it won't be the last time either...

then they ask me what it meant and I tell them
(fully loaded with some rum and fruity crap...)
that it meant pee pee...

I even busted out in New Kids On the Block songs and even a little Milli Vanilli for their listening pleasure...in Olive Garden.

thank goodness I have never gotten drunk in front of my kids before, they probably just figured I was having a nervous breakdown...going coo coo...

It took some pasta and a weak frozen margarita to calm me down...I think dh ordered it that way...seeing as though we were in a hotel room with three kids that night...it did not benefit him in the least to load me with 100 proof...

mpoppins: glad your test was ok...

umm,

MAELSTROM!
is a FASTPASS?!?

Everyone - many thanks for the continuing entertainment. I wish I had tales to tell, but today was (thankfully) one of those regular old weekend days with lots of hugs and kisses (from the kids) and very little drama. My daughter didn't even have a meltdown and I only had to change their clothes three times because of water incidents! It was a successful day. :)

Just for fun, let me give you the names of some of my favorite criminals (who have come through our local court system) - you guess the crimes!

Scott Beers
Devious Young
Felonious King
Jesse James Askew

(and before anyone gets their whitey-tightys in a wad - it's all public record!)

Maelstrom . . .
