It was okay. I liked the school. It was a huge house changed into a school. It's in a secluded, beautiful area. The Kindergarten room is a lot smaller than I'm used to, but it's okay. But now she tells me that there is a slight possiblity that their current Kinder teacher might stay now. If that happens, she wants to know if I"m interested in teaching the 4-year-olds. My first thought was "H*ll no!" But then I found out that it is NOT a daycare at all, they call it a children's academy because it is solely for learning. ALL the teachers there have their college degrees, so even if you teach the 3's, you're not low-budget. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think if I could teach K I would do it, but maybe not if it's the 4's. We'll see.

She wants me to come back next week and teach the kids a mini-lesson so she can see how I interract with the kids. And I'm supposed to bring Ainslee so she can see how she likes it there. '

I'm just glad to be home! This is the first super-hot day I have experienced since I moved here. It's still not as bad as Vegas, but it is different because of the humidity.

Sarah, your DH seems like a nice fella. Congrats!

That's great, Bonnie! It may take some time to think about. Would Ainslee go there if you worked there? Is that why she wanted you to bring her? Thanks for the update! Did you end up going to lunch with your DH?

Yeah, Ains is starting K this year and I would want her in my class if I'm teaching K. If not, I want her to go to the public school we are zoned for because we have wonderful schools in Lakeridge!

Lunch with DH, well, we went to Taco Bell. It was tasty! In Vegas we had one super close to our house and we went there all the time. We don't have any around our current house, so this was my first time at T.B. in about 5 weeks! I love Taco Bell!

Bonnie - I'm glad your interview went well. It sounds like it could be a good opportunity! And we'd all still be your cyber pals if you had a pic in your siggy. Don't be ridiculous. There is NO man out there anywhere that could hook up with an unattractive lady and make kids as cute as yours!

Back when I used to have free time I was on a scrapbooking board and a couple of the ladies came to a realization. They were looking back through scrapbooks and photo albums that they had and realized there were no pictures of themselves. They had made these books to pass on to their kids someday and there were no pictures of themselves - not just in the books, but no pictures of themselves period. They vowed to pass on the message to jump in those photo opportunities! It's better to have a bad picture of Mom at the beach, Mom at the birthday party, etc, than no picture at all!
